Great spacious and modern rooms and location
Nice modern hotel, awesome rooms with a great location. Good value considering it’s Honolulu however not sure why there is still a resort fee/ tax when it’s not a resort. Nice Starbucks attached and overall would go back again

Our familiy holiday at Centric
This hotel is an excellent hotel to stay at with fantastic service, the front desk lady Mailei was so helpful and is amazing when you require assist, the only 2 things this hotel can be the difference between great and fantastic is the pool needs to be deeper to be able to swim in it and it needs a bar/ Resturant for quite drinks and morning breakfast, this would make me stay at this place every time I visit, as the rooms are of great size the service was great and the rooms were cleaned daily

NOT CLEAN - POORLY MAINTAINED
Toilet had dried urine on seat upon arrival. Floor was not clean in bathroom. Lots of dust on walls, tv, headboard, mirrors, door jams, trim, everywhere. Hair on walls in bathroom, over 50… shower floor scum layer, smelled musty very strongly, no cleaners were used to wipe shower. Shower had mold in corners and silicone. Couch was all tattered and stained. Bed sheets were stained and towels x2. Duvet was stained in multiple locations. Lamp shape was all dusty and had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. One sink was unusable and wouldn’t drain. Room 912. The standard of cleanliness of the rooms/hotel is very poor. We found the hotel room very gross and well used, but made the best of it. Pool was under maintained with tile pieces falling off and lots of sand in it. Hot tub was never hot, luke warm at best, 2x was ice cold. Staff were friendly and answered questions and were helpful. Overall the hotel could be so much more but very poor cleanliness in room and overall hotel, the restaurant/bar was closed and we were never told, and poor pool experience. I’d never recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you

Great Location for Food and Drinks
This was our first time to Waikiki, since we were on the go, I didn't book ocean front hotel. There were four of us in our group. Hyatt Centric is only a couple blocks from the ocean, still convenient. On to the review. Pros- Room 1506 King Bed Deluxe Room on the 15th Floor. We had a view of the river, city, and other hotels. Beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and the room was clean. This particular room had a bidet toilet with a warming seat. Location- Hyatt Centric is a couple blocks to the Royal Hawaiian Center with options for food and shopping. The hotel is only a block from Marukame Udon. Other great places close by The Hideout and Paia Fish Market. Lastly, there is Duke's Market Place with a variety of options such as wine, small gifts, snacks, fast food options, sit-down restaurant- Basalt Staff- Friendly and amazing ... from the Bell staff , house cleaning, and front desk. There are Towels, chairs, and umbrellas to request from the Bell staff to use at the beach. Cons- Despite signage, there is no restaurant or bar on the property. Would be nice to have a place to have a night cap before bed. Most nearby food and bar locations close early. The parking garage is a tight fit. We came back late one night to find no parking available. The valet was nice enough to let us park in the valet section. I would not want to have a large vehicle navigating from the 6th floor (Hyatt self parking section) in that garage. There are a lot of scuff marks on the walls in the garage. We watched people driving the wrong way up one way, ramps to snag a parking space. All in all, a good stay. We didn't spend much time in our rooms other than to sleep and clean up.

Decent hotel with some issues
This is a perfectly fine hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. However, we booked one of the deluxe rooms with a tub and found the water to be only lukewarm for the vast majority of our trip no matter how far we cranked the lever. The water pressure was also pretty poor. The result was we never got to use the tub we paid for and most showers weren't satisfying. We did let the staff know early on, and they looked into it promptly, but they determined the water was "hot" -- which it definitely wasn't. It was such a relief when we moved to another hotel on the second part of our trip and got hot, strong showers like you expect in a hotel. As others have mentioned as well, be aware the parking garage is extremely tight. Thankfully we had a smaller car, but even so it was a bit stressful each time we came in and out of the garage. Beyond that the hotel is nice and quiet and in a pretty good location. Toto washlet toilet was also a big plus and something you rarely see outside Japan!
