One of my favorite Places to Stay while I am Key West!!
I have been coming to Key West for the past 16 years and I love Staying and visiting the Hyatt Centric. People like Kasia, Makayla and Megan at the Blue Mojito are why I keep coming back. The hotel is magnificent!
Our go to in Key West!
My husband and I just spend our Anniversary weekend here. The Hyatt has become our go to hotel in Key West over the past several years. It is in a great location close to Sunset Pier, clean and the staff is very friendly. We were greeted on arrival with champagne, an early check-in and upgraded room. They are doing a great job with all the safety protocols but yet you still feel like you are on vacation. Anything we needed was available. We had dinner at Latitudes on Sunset Key and the Hot Tin Roof. Both highly recommended.
I cannot say enough good things about the Hyatt Ke West. Great location, loved our room. Mike at the front desk even gave me his personal soda because they didn't have vending machines on site. Over and above! I would definitely go back again.
Great resort, location and staff!
My wife and I recently returned from a 4 day long weekend at the Hyatt Centric and absolutely loved it! We’ve stayed at another resort on the island before and wanted to try something new and were so glad we did. The Hyatt is only a 10-15 minute Uber from the airport which should cost $18 total (same price as a 2 person taxi) and check in was a breeze. The lady at the desk mentioned low occupancy due to the recent hurricane and asked if we wanted to upgrade to the best room at the resort for a nominal nightly fee and we gladly accepted. Our room 2401 was fantastic! It had 2 balconies, a living room and the best full ocean view from the resort (it’s at the top, 4th floor). Due to COVID housekeeping wasn’t running daily which was totally understandable, but they were only a call away for anything we needed. The pool was our main destination during the day and Meghan and Ashley (trainee) were wonderful taking care of us. They would run drinks and food to you while sitting by the pool or you could join them by the really nice bar area and watch TV. We only ate lunch while at the resort due to so many restaurants on the island, but the food was really good. The fish tacos and club sandwich were both great. The pool was great because there weren’t a ton of guests, but it might feel small if it was packed. We chose the Hyatt because they have their own private little beach which was also very nice. I recommend you bring water shoes though, as you do you need to walk over several meters of rocks to reach the nice sandy area in the ocean. They also have a little beach area with lounges, etc. Up front in the hotel is a turtle enclosure we really enjoyed watching them and they also have a Macaw apparently, but he was always elsewhere. We did see a couple large Iguanas on the property too which we loved seeing. The location of the resort is also perfect it’s literally a block or 2 away from Duval street and right by the waterfront area (pier, Mallory Square, shopping, bars, etc.). There is also a CVS right around the corner that sells snacks and wine if you want to stock up since the island closes earlier now due to COVID. Overall, we really enjoyed the staff and the property here and cant wait to come back.
The resort is very clean and all the staff is very friendly and very helpful.Everything you need is right there at the resort. The jet ski tour is a must. You can also have a great sunset sitting at the bar.
