It used to be a special place
As a Caesar’s rewards member, we were given an incredible offer for 3 nights of comped rooms. The daily resort fee is about $15 a night so our bill was less than $50. I’m still not sure I would stay again. Check in was smooth. No line. Everything went as expected. We parked in the parking garage and it was easy to access to the elevator. The elevator s were quick most of the time. However, they were frequently dirty and smelled of smoke. Our room was on the 10th floor facing the front parking lot. It was just a few rooms away from the elevator. The room needed a deep cleaning. Dust was visible in the vents and in every corner. There were holes in the walls from previous renovations that were never properly completed. The room was dated with old wallpaper, curtains, and furniture that was scratched and damaged over the years. The couch had white stains on it. The tub had black mold around the faucet. The towels and wash cloths were thin and scratchy. The lamp beside the bed didn’t work. And the tv across from the bed didn’t work the entire three night stay even though we asked for it to be addressed. We didn’t have a visit from housekeeping the entire time. We requested fresh washcloths but they never came. The pillows were tiny! The room was just not comfortable. Starbucks in the lobby was great! The open grill restaurant near the back is a hard pass. The food was not good. The gambling offered was a good selection of new and old machines. My husband was always able to find $10 tables. The public restrooms were clean. The casino was pretty clean too. Drink service at the table games were quick, but slow at the slots. In fact, I had to cancel several orders due to it taking over 20 minutes to be served. The pool area has all the equipment for a good time but no staff to maintain it. The cabanas were unkept. The curtains were falling off of them. No umbrellas were out even though the umbrella bases were. No towels near the pool. We had to go inside to track down a staff member twice to ask for pool towels. No music, no bar. The pool could use a deep cleaning too. Overall, we had a good time because we were determined to. It wasn’t luxurious. We found ourselves walking next door every chance we could. Things are better over there! If they deep cleaned and offered even a slight amount of hospitality then we would consider returning. But this isn’t the place for us.

High hopes turned into disappointment
Horseshoe has really disappointed me. I brought my kids with me because I wanted them to be able to enjoy the pool and eat a buffet. They weren’t able to do none of that. I asked for a non-smoking room tell me why it smelled like smoke. The toilet was leaking and there were cracks in the wall and ceiling. Not to mention I put 20 dollars in a machine and when I changed what amount I wanted to play and the money just disappeared from me and I didn’t even get a chance to press play yet. I was cheated out of a great experience and so was my kids. The staff were very nice that’s why I gave 2 stars.

Amazing staff
The staff was amazing everyone took time to speak with us and everyone had a sense of humor! We ate at Guys restaurant and the service was amazing. Drinks were good and timely!

I love the mattresses, most of that I have slept on is just like mine at home I think that’s why I sleep so well!!! And I love all the pillows to.

Exceptional Stay with Top-Notch Casino & Dining!
Fantastic hotel and casino experience! The entire property is very clean, well maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Tons of slot machines and table games to choose from, great dining options, and semi/large vehicle parking is a big plus!
