Worth The Stay
Stayed here recently on our travels. The rooms were very nice. That we were traveling off-season, the hotel was partially full so I can't complain about noise from adjoining rooms. We love Homewood Suites hotels simply because we appreciate a more home like stay. The room was well laid out. The bed was pretty nice. My wife complained that it was a bit hard and hurt her hips. I thought the bed was good but there is no way any hotel can satisfy everyone. We bring our own pillows so I can't rate their supplied ones. The AC units were pleasantly quiet which I always appreciate. The pool area was a joy. I enjoyed the hot tub which is a plus. Overall, this is a really nice place to stay. Cleanliness was excellent. We will look to stay here again on our travels.

Old hotel that needs renovation
This hotel is old and needs renovation, it's as simple as that. Our room was large, but the carpet had numerous stains on it and was literally torn, worn, frayed between the bedroom and bathroom - as if an animal sat there clawing away at it. The padding was even showing! The kitchenette had an old-school electric coil stovetop. We're glad we only stayed 1 night - and we're not coming back.

Unpleasent. Meaningless. Dirty. Stay away. We won't be returning.
The Good: The staff at the front desk was awesome and helpful. The Bad: The room was gross! There was mold in the bathroom trickling from the ceiling and wall. There were stains on the furniture and carpeting. We asked housekeeping to please clean the mold and we were assured (when we returned) that black mold was removed. When we returned to our room, we were disappointed to find that the black mold was still present. I went to the front desk and a young lady came to the room. She kindly cleaned the black mold from the ceiling and walls using bleach. Although we were offered another room, we felt that it was unfair that we had to be inconvenienced due to the hotel's incompetence.

Hotel is in very bad shape.
We have been staying at this hotel for years because it is a convenient stopping point on our way to and from Maine. This will be our last time because the quality and cleanliness has gotten so bad. The carpets are badly stained. The mattresses are badly stained. The shower curtain was moldy. There was a lot of hair left in the sink and shower from previous guests. The sink didn’t drain well. The bathroom smelled like mildew because of the shower curtain. The pull out couch bed angled badly downwards so anyone sleeping on it slides to the bottom. There are broken beer bottles in the grass and empty cases of beer stacked by the entrance. If you bring a dog, be very careful about where they are walking. My teenage sons refused to shower in the place because it was so disgusting. When a bathroom is too gross for a teenage boy, there is a major problem. This used to be a nice place. It just has not been maintained and now needs to be completely gutted and remodeled if it has any hope of coming back from a complete mess.

Recent stay - meh
Room was adequate but could have been cleaner. Hotel needs to be updated as furniture is somewhat worn and soiled. Room did not have adequate shower gel (empty), no soap and very low on toilet paper. Front desk was great, friendly and very helpful. Location (right off of NY Thruway) very convenient. Have stayed at other Homewood Suites and have loved them.
