    Christmas Day

This was our first time to stay here. Easy to find, ample parking, secure building. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Clean, attractive room. We will definitely stay there again when we visit family in Rochester.

old hotel that desperately need renovations

this hotel is in a fine location. i would pay around $80 but no more. when i stayed there was a conference and i ended up paying much more, which was not worth that. the rooms were clean but quite worn down the plumbing was very loud and when the room above you would flush or use the shower it was quite loud and would wake you up.

    Ok until the weekend!

I am staying for a week at the Holiday Inn and everything is ok. The hotel is worn with some small updates and actually pretty good beds and pillows. Sadly, on Saturday night I was not able to fully rest and enjoy the comfortable beds and pillows with the pounding sound of music 4 floors below me on the second floor. I have to be up tomorrow, Sunday at 8 am for a 20 hour day and I have POUNDING music coming up that I can hear over my TV! The hotel floors are quiet zones and have signs stating it and how is this a quiet zone?! I called the front desk and complained and he told me that it is ridiculous but said sorry and THAT IS IT!! How is this customer service?! I am on a business trip and now I cannot get rest because of this party!! This is not a party hotel! Beware this hotel when there is a great Hyatt just across the river!

    Awful Front Desk

Stayed here for a conference. We were on the 6th floor and we heard awful loud music with heavy bass starting around 10pm Multiple people from our group called (we needed to be up before 7) when we FINALLY got someone to answer, their response was “there’s an event on the second floor ( we were on the 6th) that would be happening until 12:30” they said that since the space was rented they were allowed to play the music as loud as they wanted. Apparently us playing for a room wasn’t important to them. Not a good way to do business. They weren’t following all the quiet area signs have around...
