Nestled between white sandy beaches of San José Del Cabo and the Sierra de San Lázaro Mountains, the Holiday Inn Resort® Los Cabos All-Inclusive Hotel is one with its tropical environment. This all-inclusive resort is just 15 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport and 25 minutes from Cabo San Lucas and the Natural Arch. Ideal for any type of vacation, the property offers three different ambiances: A quiet adult-only section perfect as a relaxing hide away, an activities section with a big pool where scheduled games and activities take place during the day, and a family section with pool and a special kids playground to get together with your children to have fun in the sun.
You can also challenge your friends to a tennis game on our courts, and ask the lobby staff for information on ATV tours and horseback riding. Go for an invigorating workout at the 24-hour Fitness Center or for a relaxing treatment at the Spa while your children play at the Chiqui Kids Club. Throughout the day, try different flavors in our two restaurants; and at night, enjoy live entertainment shows and drinks at the bars. After a day full of activities, rest in comfortable rooms or choose the special Lanai suites on the first floor that have their own private terrace and hammocks.

Lovely stay here
My partner and I enjoyed our stay here back in March 2020. Overall, this hotel is good value for money and situated in a prime location right on a beautiful beach front. The feedback I would really like the hotel to take into account is the food options. My partner and I are both vegan, and found it difficult to find suitable options here. The food at the buffet had no allergy labels, so it was hard to know what contained meat and dairy. This is something I imagine lactose intolerant people or vegetarians would also struggle with. We had hoped that an all-inclusive resort would have at least one suitable vegan meal. Instead we had to attempt to make full meals from the side dishes. Adding things like milk alternatives such as soy/almond or oat milk would be an excellent start. We were never able to visit the beach front restaurant due to reservations being taken up by 7am every day. People would line up from 6:00am each morning to write there names down. After seeing the menu, we noted that there were no vegan options here either :( Our room was lovely and well stocked with water, coffee and toiletries. Unfortunately we did struggle to get to sleep and relax out on our balcony during the day due to the loud music around the main pool area and evening entertainment which usually stopped by 11pm. There is a quieter pool tucked round to the side of the hotel which allowed us to escape from the loud party music. The hotel grounds were beautifully kept, and the staff were always friendly and polite. We enjoyed playing tennis and basketball in the evenings too. We booked a couples massage at the hotel spa which was lovely, however the free Jacuzzi we had afterwards was absolutely freezing which was a shame! Overall, we had a lovely stay here and would recommend this hotel.
Loved our resort. Will absolutely return!
Thank you to Xochitl, our favorite waitress/server. She was amazing as was Raul at the bar, Patty at the reception area and Omar in activities. So much fun and very cost effective. Food was good. Thanks again! Several great excursions booked through the resort. We were a party of eleven and all had a great time.

Our Second Trip to Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos from February 27th – March 12th. This is the second time that we have stayed at this resort. We love the location next to the estuary and close to town. We were in room #1234. This was a perfect location for us because it was overlooking the adult pool, which was very quiet. We had a 2nd floor terrace room which was more spacious than the 3rd floor balcony room we had the first time that we stayed at the resort. Our maid kept our room clean and restocked it daily with water bottles. Our room had a coffee maker, fridge and safe. The beds were super comfortable and we always had great sleeps. We ate at the a la carte restaurant four times during the two weeks that we were there. We really enjoyed those meals. You have to sign up for this restaurant at about 7:00 am. We were always up early, so that was not an issue. The buffet was usually very good depending on the theme. Oriental and Italian were our favorites. The self-serve cappuccino makers were a great idea. The smoothie bar was also wonderful. Drinks were great and not watered down at all. Alma at the adult pool made the tastiest drinks. The beach bar beside the a la carte restaurant was a popular place for sunset drinks. We took the bicycle tour offered through the resort. It was a bike ride to the marina, where we saw dolphins and seals putting on a bit of a show and then returned via the estuary. The tour guide was not very good though because he seemed to only be interested in his phone and not interacting with his tour group. Unfortunately I did not get his name because he never introduced himself to begin with. Every morning, we enjoyed picking up our coffees and then either walking the beach or walking by the estuary. Quite often we saw whales jumping in the ocean. We were fortunate to see a turtle laying her eggs on the beach in front of the resort. The estuary trails are in rough shape but you could still find some nice look-out points and enjoy the variety of birds. We took a local bus to Cabo San Lucas. Checked out the marina and ventured down the side streets for sight-seeing and pictures. Had lunch at The Office on Medano Beach – very busy and very tasty. We went into downtown San Jose Del Cabo a few times. The art walk on Thursday night was fun. I recommend to get there early before the crowds really get too busy. We went for supper to La Ramona and Habanero’s. Both were excellent. A few evenings and mornings were quite cool so you need to pack some extra sweaters. One suggestion for the resort would be to do a daily cleaning of the chairs in the restaurants to remove the bird droppings. Overall, it was a relaxing trip which we really enjoyed! We were lucky to return to Canada before the COVID-19 pandemic began to escalate. We hope to return for a third visit!
Fit our family well!
If you're looking for the Ritz, call the Ritz. If you're looking to slow down, catch your breath and not feel pressured to wear more than a pair of shorts and a tee, go here. The food may be more homestyle than five star, but it was perfect for us (we're homestyle folk!), and there was plenty of it. I challenge anyone to find a better fish taco! We spent most of our days on the property either in the pool or wading in the ocean (no swimming ...riptides!), feeling sand between our toes and smiles on our faces. We did venture offsite to experience a new part of the world, snorkel, and ride ATV's, which was a pleasant distraction, but those are different reviews. We also do not speak Spanish. If it's not a word on the menu at taco bell, I have no idea what it means. It wasn't ever a problem here. The staff spoke excellent English, and even helped us learn a few phrases that had me ordering my Coca Colas like I was born there! (Thanks Xochitl!) All of the staff was kind and pleasant, and the few vendors they allowed on site were never pushy, but proud to display their wares. I never know what to tip in other countries, but typically dropped 20 to 50 pesos for good service (a buck or two US), and we never had problems getting help when we needed it. The only reason we wouldn't go back is because it's a great big world that needs exploring, but if I ever have a bad experience anywhere else, I might swing back here to have my faith restored by people that are kind, service that is excellent, and fish tacos.
