Terrible Experience - Loud, Rude Staff, and Isolated Room
Terrible experience- loud, rude staff and isolated room. I am currently staying at the Holiday Inn Resort and Casino Aruba, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I was placed in the Sea Tower, right next to the nightclub, which was so loud it felt like I was staying inside the club itself. The noise made it impossible to sleep, and when I asked the staff for assistance, they were shockingly rude and completely unhelpful. Their solution? To tell me to “stop by tomorrow” so they could put me on a waitlist for a new room. No effort was made to help in the moment or provide any sense of urgency to address my concerns. To make matters worse, the room they placed me in was at the very end of the building, in a completely isolated area with no other guests nearby, which felt unsafe and unsettling. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and basic consideration for guests’ comfort. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly never stay here again.

Location, location location
Close to the beach, restaurants and everything that makes Aruba great. The rooms are clean - especially enjoyed Magie who made sure the room was in great shape everyday. Also close to Carlitos which is a great place to watch the games - college & NFL.

Can’t get in our room and no help
We’ve been here for 5 hours and it’s been horrible. Our room key didn’t work first time we we got to Our room. That’s fine mistakes happen. We called and engineering let us in. We went and got a new key and went to the ocean. When we got back, our new keys didn’t work. We waited again for engineering. They still couldn’t get our keys to work. We called the front desk asking for a new room. They said someone would bring us a new key for the same room. We waiting and the new keys didn’t work for a THIRD time. They currently have engineering outside of our room in the hallway building an entire new handle and card reader for our door instead of giving us a new room. We’re here for our honeymoon and this has been a nightmare thus far. I know other are probably having a fine time but the front desk staffs lack of assistance and denying us a new room is incredibly frustrating. 10/10 for engineering tho they’re working hard

If you can’t afford anything nicer then stay here .
Hotel staff was extremely friendly. Good location with quick access to shops and restaurants and the beach. Hotel was relatively clean but is a little dated . I was there for 3 days and never had hot water and the AC was dismal. Room never got below 76 degrees and that’s warm .. I used points from IHG so my stay didn’t cost anything . I wouldn’t pay to stay there knowing what I know now .

Great location !
The hotel has the best location right on the beach. Three pools and two outdoor bars. Easy access to walk along the beach and visit other bars and restaurants. Hotel is simple and clean. Nice open air lobby. The only hiccup was when first checking in. They could not locate my reservation. I remained very patient and calm and Don was able to locate our reservations and accommodate our requests. Don was truly the MVP and worked diligently to resolve the issue with the pressure of a growing check in line. He gave us some drink vouchers for our inconvenience. Be sure to see Yaqui the bartender.. he serves a great expresso martini! Will definitely be back!!!
