    Thieves

This use to be my go-to place for the past 3 years when I would go visit my aunt or the many events I attend with my husband in the area. Last month I stayed here, and we left behind a cooler backpack that contained a tumbler and an unopened bottle of Jose Cuervo inside of it. Over the course of 3 weeks my husband called this establishment several times only to be told that the bag could not be found but they had the tumbler. They could not answer as to how the tumbler made its way out of the backpack but insisted that their hotel never had an issue with theft. They also claimed that ONLY the head of housekeeping had the key to the front closet that stored all the belongings that people left behind. I called Guest Relations to get a hold of a manager/owner and Sam (Director of Operations) called me to run the same thing that Morgan at the front desk told my husband. He then said he will reimburse me $50 from my stay and would call me the next day after he investigates. That was on 07/02. He never called me back. On 07/12 I went to an event in the area and stopped by this hotel and confronted Morgan on the thievery with my bag and tumbler. She gave me the tumbler and then told me she always had the key to the closet which means she lied, and Sam lied on who had the key. One of the staff stole the backpack because they wanted the alcohol that was in it. Nobody has a clue on how a big tumbler jumps out of a zipped-up backpack cooler. I called Guest Relations to have Sam, or the Owner call me, and they informed me that Sam updated my complaint telling them he reimbursed me 50% of my stay on 07/02 which I told them was not true. I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANY IHG HOTEL AGAIN. IT ONLY TAKES ONE TIME WITH ME. NOTHING BUT THIEVES!

Great Stay, Cold Welcome—Front Desk Needs a Reset

This is our second time staying at this location for about a week, and while the hotel itself is clean and convenient for our family, the front desk experience continues to be disappointing. Just like our previous visit, the receptionist has a consistently unpleasant attitude—no smiles, no warmth, and no sense of hospitality. It often feels like she’s going out of her way to create tension or be unhelpful, which really affects the energy of our stay. We come here for rest and peace, not conflict. We’re not looking for special treatment—just basic kindness, respect, and a welcoming environment, especially for guests who are staying multiple days. At this point, I do my best to avoid interaction just so her energy doesn’t throw off my day. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. A friendly front desk sets the tone for a positive experience, and unfortunately, this has been the one consistent issue with both of our stays.

    Good value

Traveling for business. My room was HUGE. I enjoyed the space. There was a fridge and microwave and a full sized shower. Breakfast was clean. I prefer fruit. That was the only thing missing. They need signage that is easier to see from the road. Following the navigation, I drove past it without seeing it. Otherwise, good value.

Charged for additional night and will not refund.

Three of us met here to attend a family funeral. The two others in our party stayed 2 nights. I stayed only 1 night. My sister-in-law booked the 2 night stay, Sunday to Tuesday. Upon her return home, she checked her bill and was charged for 3 nights. She called the hotel and was told “someone stopped by the desk Monday evening and said you were extending your stay.” I was already gone and they both had travel arrangements for Tuesday. No one said that. No one in our party stayed a 3rd night but they absolutely will not refund her card. Room was clean, moderately comfortable. Breakfast was appreciated. But this is inexcusable. We won’t be staying at HI again unless they can do better.

    Stay elsewhere

We booked this hotel through a soccer tournament agency for the weekend and had a terrible experience! First of all the pool was under renovation as well as the entire downstairs area. Because of that there was no breakfast buffet. They had a grab a bag service upon request - you got a muffin, a fruit and juice. There was no open common area to even sit down and hang out, so we all stayed in rooms. The hotel was very noisy! Kids playing ball In hallways at 10 pm and running up and down. The doors are on the older side and give zero noise cancellation so it was very loud. Our room on the third floor was renovated. It was new and clean but everything else going on made the experience horrible. Will never stay here again. There are so many better choices for the same price.
