    No masks

We stopped in off the road late night with our 8 month old twins. I called ahead to check the COVID precautions and to see if they follow the mask protocols. I was assured that they were taking all precautions and staff and guests were to wear masks. On arrival a woman in the lobby did not have hers on (fine, you can’t force people to wear masks... I guess) but the woman behind the counter had hers down below her chin. That didn’t bother me too much. It was this morning when we were trying to load the car and leave our room that the gentleman vacuuming the halls 1- wasn’t wearing a mask and 2- stared at us when we walked out of the room with the two babies and could have cared less to move out of the way so we could exit the room. So no mask, no “social distancing,” no manners. The room was pretty clean but the couch and carpet were gross - figured I’d throw that it there while I’m at it.

    Quiet and good location

Stayed on a vacation and would recommend this hotel. Coronavirus concerns have limited some of the options but it was still nice hotel. Only 5 miles from downtown St Augustine and a half mile from I-95. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean.

    It's fine for a night

    1. Room was very clean, but, the Keurig coffee pot water well was slimy. I am glad I noticed the floating particulate matter while pouring in fresh water. 2. The Bathroom looked clean, but upon wiping down the counter, I felt a build up of something that needed to be wiped off and it took some vigorous wiping to clear it off. 3. The shower had 3 bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body soap, that were left for customers to use, no way! See pic. 4. Light Bulb was.out in bathroom 5. Savannah, at the front desk who checked us in, did an excellent job. She was nice and efficient and represented the hotel well.

    Limited services

Due to COVID-19, the breakfast buffet is not open. They have bags at the front desk with a water bottle, granola bar and danish. They also have a bowl of fruit. Very limited. Pool and gym closed too. If you stay more than 1-night, they are not cleaning your room or providing service. Bed was comfortable. DD is next door. Staff was polite.

    Nice place ..good value

We stood in this hotel for a night and was pleasantly surprised. For the price we paid ($120) I was a little skeptical, but the hotel is updated and very nice. The only thing is that the toilet backed up and the bathroom door didn’t lock? but the next morning the toilet seemed to have fixed on its own but since we only stood for one night we forgot to mention to front desk when we checked out. But despite of these things we will consider staying in this hotel again when we go back to area.
