What a Dump!
What a Dump! On arrival virtually no one in lobby was wearing a mask. Desk clerk said there was nothing they could do. Entering our room we found the ceiling light didn’t work at all and the few lights there were dim. The couch was filthy and stained. Toiletries were almost non existent. Just one tiny hand soap conditioner and shampoo. No bath soap. Then getting ready to shower, guess what? NO BATH TOWELS! I won’t return here for sure and probably won’t ever stop at a Holiday Inn again. What a dump!
Complete opposite of HIE next door
We were originally using a reward stay at the HIE next door. Some very bad housekeeping effort there caused us to move to this Holiday Inn owned by the same company. Surprisingly different experience here. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Checkin was welcoming and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was great. Simple menu but very nicely done and a lot of food for prices you’d have paid at the Applebee’s next door...Not the inflated prices I expected. Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae was huge for $4.50. My kids loved it.
Great staff; very good rooms
A very nice experience The front desk staff was very good Our room had a small seating area with television and a partially separate sleeping area. The parking area is lighted but the curtains shut the light out very well Very quiet rooms although near the freeway Breakfast was cooked to order with physical separation eating area priced $8-9 Surprisingly condiments openly available Bathroom and shower nice A larger than usual pool and exercise area A good value
Spacious, Updated Rooms
This Holiday Inn is a great hotel. The rooms are very large and updated. The location has excellent access to both the interstate and airport. I also found it very reasonably priced. The staff seemed very serious about cleanliness on my recent visit. Overall, this was a great stopping point on America's interstates.
Although I received a good deal on the room through a very popular third-party service it smelled musty, the couch was filthy and looked to be covered in something that looked like blood, and it was obvious the mirrors in the bathroom haven’t been cleaned because as soon as they fogged up you could see several words (some vulgar) “written” on the glass. To add insult to injury, the hotel claims it has a restaurant with an all you can eat breakfast buffet when in truth it’s a continental breakfast with a couple warm items that most hotels give you for free. Not this one, it’s a whopping $10 a person. The location and room layout were great, but they don’t make up for the gross couch and way over priced breakfast. We won’t be staying here again!
