Spacious, Updated Rooms
This Holiday Inn is a great hotel. The rooms are very large and updated. The location has excellent access to both the interstate and airport. I also found it very reasonably priced. The staff seemed very serious about cleanliness on my recent visit. Overall, this was a great stopping point on America's interstates.
Although I received a good deal on the room through a very popular third-party service it smelled musty, the couch was filthy and looked to be covered in something that looked like blood, and it was obvious the mirrors in the bathroom haven’t been cleaned because as soon as they fogged up you could see several words (some vulgar) “written” on the glass. To add insult to injury, the hotel claims it has a restaurant with an all you can eat breakfast buffet when in truth it’s a continental breakfast with a couple warm items that most hotels give you for free. Not this one, it’s a whopping $10 a person. The location and room layout were great, but they don’t make up for the gross couch and way over priced breakfast. We won’t be staying here again!
For two years in a row we've stayed here the night before we leave for vacation. We chose it because of its convenience to the airport and the fact it had a bar, so we could celebrate the start of our vacation and not have to drive. And two years in a row, the managers have kicked us out of the bar. Keep in mind we are 4 sets of 40-something couples and a 78 year old lady. Quiet conversation and expressions of excitement about our upcoming vacation. Not dancing on tables, not exuberant shot taking, no sophmoric antics. When asked why (both times) the bartender and manager would not even talk to us. The rooms are comfortable and convenient, but we will never stay here again.
This is a great hotel. It’s perfect If you are flying in or out... actually even if you are not. The rooms/suites are modern, clean, spacious and well thought out. It is just 3 miles from downtown and it is well priced. I highly recommend!!!
Just stayed 2 nights at the Holiday Inn Boise Airport for a college visit. The room was big with 2 queen sized beds and a separate seating area with second TV. The room was clean and modern. The only downside was that the hot tub was down for maintenance. The price was great and we will definitely be staying here on our next visit.
