12/10 per usual!
As per the norm, the service across the board was exceptional and our server at the pool was terrific. Room was clean and comfortable! I’ve spent a considerably amount of time in upstate NY (Buffalo, Rochester, Binghamton) and I know my chicken wings. The Bull & Bear wings are the best I’ve ever had. I would drive from home to pick those up for football Sundays every week - they were so good. Footnote: Bull & Bear at the Waldorf is one of the finest restaurants in the US and one of our favorites!
We have visited this hotel many times and they are always consistent in accommodations and service. The hotel was very empty and food choices very limited. I think my only major criticism was lack of enforcement of guests wearing masks. Having stayed at several hotels during the last few months this was by far the worst with guests walking around with no masks in sight. There seemed to be little security and on a few occasions I had to point out to staff members that people weren’t wearing masks, which I was surprised and disappointed about. Still a great choice.
We had high hopes based on the reviews we read, but unfortunately the hotel fell short in many areas for us
We stayed for my husband's birthday on Friday & Saturday night, and the first night was ok.. the room was clean, the bed was average comfort level and the hotel decor was nice. It wasn't until we came back from the pool that we realized the tiny bottle of shampoo (which was more like scented water) was not enough to actually wash an adult's hair after swimming in the pool.. so after everyone had there makeshift shower we went to bed. The next day we left for the park and were told the shuttle to return to the hotel would pick us up at Hollywood Studios at 6:15 so we were at the pick up location from 5:45-6:45 waiting on a bus that never came, we were then forced to call an uber, because were already running late for our 6:45 birthday dinner reservations, afterward we hit the pool for the evening, when we returned from the pool we realized that the housekeeping never visited our room to refill our watered down toiletries or our towels, much less to make up the beds. That was the last straw for me. In my opinion/experience the level of customer service we would expect and what we actually recieved from a hotel of this category and price point was very subpar. I would be very hesitant to ever stay here again.
Fabulous Resort That Understands Covid Safety!
I have stayed at the Hilton Bonnet Creek several times over the years and have always loved this resort. Fantastic amenities, beautiful pool with lazy river and great restaurants. I was concerned it wouldn't be the same with not all of the restaurants and amenities open, but we had a fantastic time. This resort was super conscious about social distancing, having floor markings and place markers of where to stand in elevators and enforcing face coverings while walking throughout the resort. The rooms are clean and spacious. The Waldorf side of the resort was closed for a private event which was a bit of a bummer as that side of the resort is beautiful as well. The highlight of the stay was dinner at La Luce. I have reviewed that restaurant separately, but it is fantastic. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the staff - all impeccable. I will definitely continue to choose Bonnet Creek as one of my Disney adjacent go-to resorts and I highly recommend it. Prices are considerably more reasonable than the official Disney Resorts and Bonnet Creek offers bus transportation to all of the parks!!
Great Hotel in great location
Stayed here in 2019 and I have to say it is a the best hotel we have stayed in in Orlando. In a really nice location with Golf Courses all around. Rooms are luxurious and there is several restaurants to choose from.
