Not the Hilton experience I’m used to
Our 6 day Stay at the Hilton Myrtle Beach North was nice with challenges.. We were met with one of the nicest Bell’s men Arthur he was a jewel for our entire stay . In addition, all of the Bell’s guys were terrific. Arthur was very attentive to our her needs , and early made us feel welcome. Cliff was wonderful, Mike was super as well. The Bells Men were Great. Michael at the front desk was also very helpful very kind and very informative about the property and where we could go to make our stay enjoyable. I have to mention Valeriie whenever I approach the front desk with any questions Valeriiie was always willing to help and was so pleasant to work with. NOW ON YESTERDAY 7/7/25 we returned to our room after being out for the day we arrive back about 4:42 PM to discovered that the battery in the room door was dead and would not allow us to use our room card to open the room door. Upon going to the front desk, a security guy was sent up to help us out, Iiga he stated to us that he was going to make Maintenance aware so they could come up and get us in our room. nicely inform him that we had a photo shoot in 40 minutes. I needed to get into our room as soon as possible after waiting for maintenance to arrive at our rooms for 20 minutes, I went back downstairs and asked for the manager on duty his name was Russ. He came up and attempted to open the door and said I will get somebody right up. I expressed to him that I had a photo shoot at 5:30pm and needed someone to get me in the room so I can get dressed long story short it took one hour for them to get me in my room. The site manager Russ was horrible. He had no urgency and had a disposition of “whatever”. You really would not expect it to take an hour to get the maintenance crew to your room from downstairs to get the battery changed in the door. I think this is a beautiful oceanfront property. I just think the management team here has a lot to be desired. The manager did not make me feel like I was important that my situation had any urgency at all.

A True Gem at Hilton Myrtle Beach!
My husband and I visit the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort often, and each time, Terry—the valet—makes our stay feel extra special. From the moment we pull up, he greets us with the warmest, most genuine smile, as if to say, “Welcome home!” It’s that kind of personal touch that truly sets this resort apart. After just a few visits, Terry began to recognize us, and now seeing him has become one of the highlights of our trips. He’s incredibly kind, professional, and always goes above and beyond. Last month, I hosted my retirement ceremony in the Dunes Ballroom, and even my guests were raving about Terry’s outstanding service. As we were leaving, my 22-year-old son turned to me and said, “Mom, that guy is so nice.” That simple comment said it all. We’ve stayed at many high-end hotels and resorts over the years, but the level of service Terry provides is unmatched. He is truly a gem, and Hilton Myrtle Beach is lucky to have him on their team!

Lack of cleanliness
Overall, our family vacation was very enjoyable; however, my family and I will not be staying at this hotel again. Once we arrived and checked into our room, the bathroom was dirty. You could visibly see strands of hair on the sink and in the shower. We found food on the floor; which clearly shows it was not vacuumed. The bed comforter had makeup stains on it. When I made my complaint to front desk, they tried to justify why it wasn’t clean. One front desk rep, stated “well our cleaning staff doesn’t arrive until 9 am, so it will take time to clean the room” Mind you, we check in on Thursday at 5pm. So, this should have been done before we arrived. It took hours for them to send someone to clean. The ladies arrived, we left for dinner. Only to return to the same filthy room. All they did was gave us more wash cloths and towels in a trash bag. I was livid! I went back downstairs to complain, and my complaint fell on deaf ears! Another front desk rep- Janean; stated the cleaning staff doesn’t do a thorough cleaning since covid. If I had known that, I would have NEVER stayed here. My husband and I spent entirely too much money for this vacation to deal with this.

Horrible stay, not worth the money
We booked this hotel based off of the location on the beach and a combination of photos and reviews. Some of the photos uploaded with different amenities such as the indoor pool and water park are not of the property, but photos of a nearby property that you have access to. There is a shuttle that will take you back and fourth which was convenient but overall felt it was false advertisement. This property is not well maintained at all. The room was not clean and probably the most disappointing Hilton property we have ever stayed at. When we realized the room was not clean we did try to change rooms but due to limited availability because it was a holiday weekend, our only option would have been an up charge which we did not feel was worth any additional money. The room we paid for was an ocean front view which also meant that the room door faced the outside, and there was such a large gap in the room door that the entire night all we could hear was the whistling of air flowing through the gaps. The front desk staff along with the shuttle staff were super friendly and pleasant. But overall not worth it hat we paid for, would not return, and would not recommend.

Dale at the bar!!!
We went to the tiki bar to enjoy some drinks and the bartender Dale was absolutely incredible. Drinks were delicious and he was so engaging and nice. We walked up right away and had great energy and you can tell he loves his job!!
