Meh. Nice room but nosey doors, not so good breakfast. Felt safe there.
The room was nice and very clean. We enjoyed our water view. Felt very safe there. Close to alof of good food places. The front desk check-in experience was great. The downside, the doors really stick when opening and closing so it can be really loud in the hallways which you hear from the room. The ice machines were not working on any floor I checked. The breakfast buffet was not good, Hampton blows then away with freshness and warm food. We were charged for breakfast even though I paid for a room with breakfast, and I am a diamond member and had a drink/food credit. I can't reach anyone to get this fixed now and I've tried multiple times and different ways. Super frustrating!

Fraudulent Reservation
I contacted this hotel and spoke to several different people including the front desk, reservations and management. Each time I explained to them that someone made a fraudulent reservation using my credit card. I gave them all the information that I had, which was the credit card number used, my name, the date and time of the transaction. I informed that my bank had already cancelled my card after I saw another two transaction attempts for their hotel. I was told by hotel staff that my credit card company would have to reach out to them before they could do anything about it. Of course I called CITI and told them this. They informed me that they have never had to reach out to a merchant to do such. And that it only took me contacting the hotel, letting them know it was fraudulent, provide the amount, date of transaction and my card number and they could reverse the transaction. I also asked the hotel if they could at least cancel the reservation that was made, or require whomever came to check in, to provide the credit card used as well as ID matching the name. The last rep that I spoke with named Ishmall (I think that is how you spell it), told me that he could not give me any information as to if there was or was not a reservation made with my card because the card number, date, name on card and amount was not enough information. And that made absolutely zero sense to me. I think they were simply not wanting to refund because he kept saying the exact same thing over and over as if it was a scripted response. So they have gotten $406.52 out of me. If I do ever visit Memphis, best believe that I wont even drive past that hotel.

Underwhelming Hilton Experience
For the past 10+ years, I’ve stayed at the Hilton Memphis annually for an April quarterly Business meetings. Unfortunately, I’ve seen a noticeable and steady decline in quality since the pandemic. What was once a reliable and decent property has now become one of the most consistently underwhelming Hilton experiences I’ve encountered. The lack of key amenities is especially disappointing for a hotel of this size—there’s no executive lounge and no full-service restaurant on-site. As a Diamond member, I received no recognition at check-in and wasn’t offered the usual welcome items. When I inquired, I was told there was water in the room—but isn’t that standard for all rooms? The response felt dismissive and far from the level of hospitality I’ve come to expect from Hilton. Basic guest services were also lacking. Only a handful of luggage carts were available, and just one of four elevators was working in this 26-floor hotel—often resulting in wait times of 30 to 45 minutes. The rooms are noticeably dated, and from what I observed, the property does not appear to meet modern ADA compliance standards, which is concerning. Only positive is the increased secuirty presence do to consistant auto thefts in 2024- I was directly affected and have 1st hand knowlege of multiple incidents. Overall, the Hilton Memphis no longer reflects the quality, service, or reliability associated with the Hilton brand. Unless meaningful improvements are made, I can no longer recommend this property. Not Recommended!

Living in the city but still getting to know my city
Everything about this hotel is absolutely amazing, I live in Memphis and I always look for a place at home but from home without traveling too far, I always love visiting this hotel because I’m obsessed with beautiful places and views in my city
