Not what it used to be
Great staff, maybe because of COVID the property is slipping. Not up to Hilton standards. Food subpar, rooms need updating and watch your credit card. They charge you 150.00 for incidentals then when you charge something to the room they hit you again. Okay stay just not Hilton felt like a budget brand.
It is so rare to have a front desk employee to actually thank a guest for the Diamond status as well as to inform "I have a nice upgrade for you" as well as complimentary hot breakfast. Free parking and airport shuttle. No issues whatsoever; perfect place, 2 minutes to MLB airport. Incidentally, I stayed at a Waldorf Astoria a day after this Hilton, and Hilton Melbourne is about 4 stars better.
Nice Relaxing Stay
This hotel, has a large open lobby area, which is very helpful for social distancing and allows people to feel safe. They also have the open bar area and in the morning's the Starbucks area serves breakfast. This area can be a little slow in the morning since there is only one employee. The hotel rooms are very specious and the bed is real comfortable and relaxing. The bathroom is modernized and overall room decor is fresh and new. Overall had a great stay.
Nice upgrade to a corner alcove with balcony. Very friendly staff, lovely hotel. Great airport park and fly service. They are toughing it out through the virus and the GM even gave me a ride to the airport. I don't agree with them cancelling housekeeping for stay overs. But I was only there 1 night so it didn't matter. Good value staying here, would stay again. Clean and professional, what should be expected of Hilton.
The most honest management and staff I have ever encountered.
I did something REALLY stupid and this hotel saved the day. When rushing out because my work called (I’m a pilot) I left a LOT of valuables in my room safe. I’m talking all the staples...electronics, expensive watch, wallet, keys, LOTS of cash, sunglasses etc. With one phone call, not only did the front desk staff immediately secure all my objects, they packaged them all in individually packed bubble wrap, boxed my items and shipped them to me next day air. They even called me multiple times with updates including texting me a tracking number. An absolutely picture perfect staff and management experience. It’s hard to find honest people in this world but they work here. Lina, Olivia, and Bob. Thanks! As far as my stay I spent 5 nights here. Clean room and really good food. To all front desk staff, maintenance and management, thank you.
