Terrific hotel
Wedding destination trip and it was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect here. Gorgeous property, wonderful staff, nice gym, great beach area, great bartenders. Restaurants served a nice breakfast and dinner. Very attentive staff.

Nice Stay, but Value Concerns
We had a nice stay at the Hilton last week. The service by the pool was very good, and the overall experience was enjoyable. However, some things could be improved. The coffee shop, breakfast buffet, and on-site store are extremely overpriced. The rooms themselves felt a bit bland and lacked character. Everything is very pricy for what it is, as I don’t consider Hilton a luxury property. One major concern is the beach—it's not swimmable. During our stay, two people had to be rescued from the water. The hotel should do a better job of monitoring guests and clearly warning them about the dangers. At another hotel we stayed at afterward, they didn’t even allow guests near the water when conditions were unsafe, which felt much more secure. I’m not sure I would choose to return, but overall, the vacation was good, and I don’t have any major complaints.

Terrible Food, Poor Service, and Broken Facilities
First of all, I honestly don’t understand how people are saying the food is good here. The food at Hilton Los Cabos was absolutely terrible—always cold, poorly prepared, and completely lacking flavor. I’ve never seen worse food at a hotel. This hotel feels more like an event venue than a place to relax. There was constant construction on the beach, and parts of the main pool were closed off for private events—yet guests are still charged full price. The elevator wasn’t working the entire time we were there, which was a huge inconvenience. The service was also very slow. Simple requests took way too long, and overall the staff didn’t seem attentive or organized. We also tried to use the spa steam sauna—on one day we were told it’s $25, and the next day they said it’s $40. That kind of inconsistent pricing is shady, especially for a so-called five-star hotel. The only good thing here is the beach itself, but that doesn’t make up for everything else. I would never stay here again, and I truly don’t understand the positive reviews about this place—especially the food. It makes no sense.

Incredible Service
My recent stay at the Hilton Los Cabo’s Beach and Golf Hotel exceeded my expectations by far. The service on all levels was that of a high end luxury resort. From the management to the restaurant wait staff to the pool attendants, all were amazing. Gerardo at the front desk and Diana the concierge made our stay unforgettable. In addition, Diego, the pool supervisor did an amazing job making sure everything was in order and pool staff attentive to us. We stayed in an AltaMar Junior suite for a week. I would highly recommend the altamar category for the inclusive benefits of private airport transportation, daily happy hour which was wonderful, and a stocked minibar daily. The morning coffee service was also much appreciated as there were no coffee makers in the room and saved us a trip to Televera in the early morning hours. The only downside is that the resort is bit remote and the two nearest towns are about a 20 minute ride. Would recommend checking out the town of Pamillo which is close by and offers wonderful dining options.

Fabulous Everything. No need to consider any other hotel in Cabo.
We considered The One and Only Palmilla where we stayed before and The Four Season but decided to be financially practical. So, we chose the Hilton and are so happy we did. This is a FABULOUS resort. Great hotel, great rooms, all seemingly with great sea views, great pools, great beach, great staff, great location. It might seem a ways out from Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo but it actually equidistant and perfectly located to restaurants like Acre, Flora Farm, The marina (Los Arcos) and Edith’s. The price is right and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
