I would not Recommend this hotel
I would not recommend this hotel. We paid for an ocean view with two queen beds. We got up to the desk to check in and we asked again just to confirm that it is an ocean view and we were told yes when we got to our room to our surprise, there was no ocean view. We went back to the front desk and was told sorry we do not have any more ocean view with two queen beds.

Hotel is not as it's made out to be in pictures!!! Hotel needs Help!
When we first arrived we noticed the hotel was not as pictures we viewed online, Hotel appearance on the outside was run down ( Roof Rot, Rusted out gutters). Then upon check in we were told a resort fee of $25 a day(which yes is normal for most places) but it did not include parking in the resort fee - That was another $25 a day. The resort fee was to cover resort expensive (Pool towels, beach chair and Ice chest rental, bikes, different activities offered by the hotel such as vendor events, fire shows, lei making lessons, etc.) Out of all those activities I saw 2 things in the 6 days we were there. We were never told about bikes or chairs and the 3 times we went to ask for pool towels they were all out! The Gym was not well maintained we went there 4 out of our 6 days and you could tell was not cleaned very well (same dead cockroach on the floor for 3 days) Lets talk about the rooms! Horrible - Old Popcorn ceilings, Mattress is old and bottoms out when you sit on it, Windows only open about 3 inches and no screens and with the moisture in the room we needed to open it more than that, The circulation vents in the bathroom not working at all - you could tell the moisture in your room as your clothes always felt a little damp! We had breakfast there 1 day and for the price the buffet is so not worth it!! We did not have dinner there as the food on the menu was basic bar type food offerings. I also went to do laundry on the sheet of the hotel property it stated you could get soap in the lobby for $2 a box well went to go buy and the box was $4!! False advertisement is a issue at this hotel! The staff did there best to take care of issues but it seems the owners don't really care about the appearance of their hotel. I would not recommend this to anyone!! there is so much better around the area for about the same price!!!

Love the staff and local but Hilton I’m disappointed
I really wanted to love this place. The beach side access and pool are both nice. Staff was very kind, compassionate and accommodating. However, the hot tub was under maintenance our whole stay which really bummed me out, and my family is gluten free and the accommodations were scarce. I saw on their website and reviews they offered gluten free pancakes but when we got there the GF pancakes were not available. There were other amenities missing and it’s truly a cop out. The food was outrageously priced and not worth the value. We will be staying at a completely different resort next trip. I loved Kalani Jo and his Ukulele class! Cina, the hostess that checked us in was such a sweetheart, very helpful and accommodating. She deserves a raise! I hope Hilton will improve this location and support the lovely staff we cherished during our stay. Mahalo and Aloha.

Best Stay Ever for our Honeymoon!
My husband and I 100% recommend this resort for Kauai! It’s perfectly located to wear you can get pretty much anywhere on the island in under 40 minutes (many of the towns were within 15/20 minutes of the hotel). The staff was excellent, made us feel like we were staying with family. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, gave us great local recommendations. The room was very clean and was spacious. Having the two pools was really nice as well as the little swimming area by the beach on property. Most of the beaches in Kauai the waves are too strong to swim but the spot on the hotel property was perfect. Restaurant on site was delicious too. VERY REASONABLE PRICE FOR A NICE PLACE!!!! We didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg on our room rate or parking to stay here and still have a high quality stay. We loved this hotel WAY MORE than the “fancy resort” we stayed at on Oahu. If we come back to Kauai we would stay here again, highly reccomended to all.

5 Stars – A Memorable First Visit to Hawaii!
Stayed: April 18th at Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay This was my first time visiting Hawaii, and my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay made it unforgettable. The location is fantastic—close to the airport and nestled in a beautiful spot with absolutely incredible views. The real standout of my stay, though, was Bree at the front desk. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Her tips became my personal guide throughout the trip and helped me make the most of my time on the island. Thank you, Bree, for your warm hospitality and for helping make my first trip to Hawaii so special. I’ll definitely be back!
