My Miami go-to.
Better than South Beach to me. I like unique things. You get more of true feelings from all the different cultures in Miami. Locals will keep you in the loop of everything cool going on in the city. You can hang out the bar and find 10 cool things NOT TO DO. LOL. Most of the staff are not into the Stereotypical things you think of when you her MIAMI.
My friends and I stayed here in February for the South Beach Food & Wine Festival this year. While the hotel itself is very cute, and the Hilton name should provide a certain level of service, this did not take place the weekend we were there (Feb. 20, 2020 thru Feb. 23 2020). This was clearly another hotel that Hilton took over recently. The beds are hard, there's no food to order room service. We ordered a cabana online and when it came time to go to it, we got the runaround for about 30 minutes before we were given a waitstaff person. There seemed to be a towel shortage the entire weekend because we had to keep calling for more towels, at 1 point we were told there were no clean towels in the entire hotel (what??). 3 ladies to a room and we were given 2 rolls of toilet paper, again, had to constantly ask for more. The hotel sits on a bad and busy corner/intersection, the driveway is a very steep incline and you may drive past it if you aren't paying close attention as the signage is barely visible. We had an amazing view of the beach but that's where the "positives" start and finish. Definitely will not be staying there again.
Relaxing Stay and Great Service
Me and a couple friends spent a chill spring break at this location and had the best time. We got to check in early, which was a great surprise, having arrived well before check in time. Our servers at the Allison Bar and Restaurant were incredible all the days we were there, and Lesmar took special care of us - he always made sure we had our drinks and our food in a timely manner! It was also only his first week so he was killing it! Vinny at the beach was also so sweet and accommodating! We got a cabana for two days of our stay and the beach staff were incredible with making it look beautiful. Hotel room was beautiful with a great view of the drawbridge and sunset. Room service staff were timely and accommodating as well!
Nice hotel. Just wish they offered self parking instead of $40 valet. The pools were nice and o enjoyed the hot tub. The walk out location straight to the beach was nice also. If they would make a self parking lot things would of been perfect. Not everyone trusts others to drive their car and be in their personal space.
Amazing valet service! So nice and accommodating! Love the texting feature that has your car ready to go when you come down! The staff was so nice and helped with luggage as well. Would stay here again!
