Resort did have some minor changes. Did notice rooms weren’t upkept as much as they were at our last years stay. And restaurants menus changed but otherwise a good stay . Service was good and we enjoyed our vacation
Personnel good attitude but short in staff for the amount of guests in buffet and bar areas. Hotel does not require guests to wear masks, even in buffet enclosed area, did not feel safe. Our room felt humid.
Checked in into a dirty room with a disgusting toilet, the receptionist called me a liar so I showed her a video and all she said was ok. She never apologized. Specially during Covid time I would expect them to double check in cleaning and sanitizing
A bit disappointing
The resort needs a makeover and not just because of the hurricanes, however they did get extensive damage. This was my 5th visit and I was disappointed. Had Diamond Club but didn’t get rooms there. Only got Diamond Club bracelet...which did nothing because Diamond Club service not in operation. Food still good. Entertainment very good. Resort is being Covid conscious for the most part, however guests are not. We actually cut our stay short and moved next door.
So Far So Good!
I love reading reviews so now allow me to return the favor. We're currently here having a really nice time. Resort did take a hit from the two hurricanes so you notice the wear and tear, regardless during the evening it looks beautiful. They follow Covid-19 Safety, Temperature checks and sanitizer everywhere. Mask our worn by Staff. Staff is nice, friendly and helpful. We upgraded our room from an ocean view jacuzzi to a one bedroom presidential suite. Upon check in they allowed us to look at the room first before deciding to upgrade. Our 3 boys loved it and me and my husband we're sold on the extra privacy and space. Our balcony faces the pool view and you can even see the kids splash area. The room is clean and housekeeping is helpful. The rain shower is everything especially when arriving from travel. If you forget to pack a few things no worries plenty of little shops around. The food so far is okay and the alcoholic drinks are watered down...I'm going to stick with their house 🍺 beer. Me and my husband travel often to Mexico, this is the first time with our boys so it's all about them.
