Had an amazing trip at the Hideaway resort. The staff were incredible friendly, especially Tamieka and Sean. Both were always a pleasure to see at the Buffet! The resort it self was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The food was a highlight for my group and I. Very high quality

Apr 27, 2025Nice but wouldn’t return
Check in was quick and easy. Our room was the furthest from everything , 427 and it had AC and Wifi issues. We were given a new room the next day that was actually mush closer to the beach and pools and the AC and Wifi worked as it should. The food was plentiful and tasty. We had difficulty getting A la Carte reservations unfortunately. The beach and ocean were very nice. It was windy every day so unless you enjoy playing in the waves as we do, you may not enjoy it. Soft white sand, no need for water shoes. If you like long beach walks, you will be disappointed here. The pools do not open until 10:00 and close at 5 pm. The cleaners are in the pool until 10:00. The swim up bar was not well equipped, stocked or staffed. We ran out of curaçao and vodka frequently. Pool towels were not easily available. They hand out several towels to people rather than do a 1-1 exchange. Therefore some people have many towels and others get none. We were at the towel hut each morning when they open at 7am. Walking by before 0800, there’d be none left. Beautiful and clean but we wouldn’t return.

Great experience
Had the best time at the hideaway! The drinks are great, the people are so nice, and the property is gorgeous. The standouts are Adrian from the vibes team, he is the absolute best, good vibes and great person!! He’s great with the guests and let us know the best places to be! Also Stacy from the Dorado restaurant, she is the sweetest!

Experience of a life time
Hideaway was extraordinary. The drinks, the people, the food and the culture were all amazing. I would go back in a heart beat. Especially because if Adrian from the Vibes team. He was truly accomodating, super fun and good vibes. He took care of us super well and made our experience all the more special.

Amazing !
Adrian made sure we had the best time . He was apart of the vibe team and made sure he brought the energy!! He made my entire trip that much better , He needs to be a part of the leadership team to help innovative and enhance the experience of others who choose to vacation at the Hideaway , No Adrian no Jamaica !!
