Yes! Very Nice! Super clean!
Overall 5 stars! Room - very nice; super clean; we had a corner room on the ground floor that had its own private lanai with lounge chairs - like a private cabana room-side (outstanding) right at the adults-only pool; we had a king room, that had plenty of space, with nice crisp white linens, bathrobes, slippers, safe, coffee maker, and mini fridge. See pictures. Staff - the hotel staff were friendly and kind. Check-in and check-out were easy. Parking - valet is available, but we parked just a few feet away in self-park. Activities - lots to do; daily dolphin presentations each morning, tennis, pickle ball, spa, bikes, etc. Food (just our somewhat unique/basic opinions here) - this was a weak spot; staff were hit or miss as some were outstanding and some seemed very aloof, slow, or disinterested; the food was too "foodie" for our basic tastes, good, but we are just not foodies (if you are, it may be exceptional, if not, go off-site for better, MUCH less expensive options). Overall - We say YES to Hawk's Cay almost all the way! Thanks for a beautiful weekend in the Keys!

55/10 Experience!
Jacob at the tiki hut by the pool at Hawks Cay is an absolute legend. From the moment we walked up, he was friendly, welcoming, and had the best energy. He makes you feel like you’re on vacation even if you’re already on one! The drinks were on point, the vibes were immaculate, and Jacob’s service took the whole experience to the next level. If you’re at Hawks Cay, do yourself a favor and find Jacob—he’s the guy you want behind the bar. 55/10, would go again (and again and again)!

Nice place but unkind staff makes it feel icky
More than half the staff is rude. I don’t know why. I found myself apologizing for asking for a glass of milk for my kid (I should know to pour my own from the skim or half and half by the coffee). Best bet is to use the pool and go elsewhere for all meals. Rooms at nice, this walls.

"Disappointed after 11 Years of Loyalty – Hoping It Was Just an Off Day"
⭐️⭐️⭐️ — "Disappointed after 11 Years of Loyalty – Hoping It Was Just an Off Day" I’ve been a loyal guest of Hawk’s Cay for over 11 years, visiting at least twice a year, and I’ve always left with wonderful memories—until now. As a Preferred Hotels member, I’ve come to trust this property for its high standards and excellent service. That’s why my recent stay (April 4–7, 2025) left me deeply disappointed. Despite reserving specific accommodations for my family’s needs, we were assigned cabins far from the main building and activity areas. While this might seem like an upgrade to a first-time guest, regulars know it means feeling cut off from the action—and doing a lot of walking in Florida’s heat, which isn’t ideal after a long road trip. To make matters worse, we waited over an hour in the lobby before even being assisted. The manager on duty offered us a “downgrade” with a partial refund but didn’t try to provide an alternative or show any real empathy. This isn’t the Hawk’s Cay I’ve come to love. I know the hotel can deliver incredible experiences—I’ve lived them myself. But this time, the lack of care from the front desk and management (especially on the afternoon of April 4) truly missed the mark. What would you have done in my place? Maybe I expected too much based on the past. Or maybe this was just one of those moments that needs fixing. I’m sharing this not out of anger, but because I believe in Hawk’s Cay and want it to continue being a destination worth returning to. I hope this review encourages the team to realign with the excellence that has built their reputation. Waldemar Carrasquero Preferred Hotels Member Stay: April 4–7, 2025

I’d choose another place to stay
The good: we stayed in a sanctuary house and it was very nice for our group of 7. Most employees, especially the breakfast buffet staff were very friendly and helpful. Adult pool was very nice Why I would say choose somewhere else: mainly their billing and transparency around it. The youngest in our group was 17. We always tip well on good service. Whenever she would order food from the restaurants, they would automatically add 20% gratuity. They didn’t do that for the adults. It’s not their policy unless it’s a group over 6 ordering at a time. It’s not published on the menus. When I asked about this inconsistency, the staff said they could do that when they saw fit. I brought it up to the manager. She said it wasn’t their policy, but she didn’t do anything about it. When I checked out, I asked for a breakdown of my charges so I could see how often that happened. They said they couldn’t provide that. Basically I had a bill I had to pay with no specific documentation. Also- all of the activities included in the “resort fee” has too many limitations. If you want to borrow a bike, it has to be back in an hour. Paddles for pickleball, an extra charge. EVERYTHING is closed by 6pm. Nothing to do after but drive off the resort. We tried Anglers one night and they were very busy just vacuuming and cleaning around us before closing time.
