    Terrific nearby getaway

Clean, modern rooms and terrific staff - very accommodating. We liked that it wasn't in the heart of the Loughlin strip - much quieter with less street traffic. Casino has the best non smoking section I've seen and some nice dining choices. Although, I'd say unless you have comps, avoid the beach themed main diner and go for Guy Fieri's as the food is much better at Guys.

    Not a Complete Disappointment

We stayed on the 12th floor of the North Tower, where I guess the cheap-rooms are. Overall, not bad, but I've stayed at other Harrah's Resorts, Kansas City and Las Vegas, and have become accustomed to a certain standard from the brand that I feel were not met at this resort. The room was very clean, but I expect that the bed was very comfortable but I expect that too. A super plus was the room was soundproof. Not a sound from above, below, or from either side. However, it was a lot smaller than the other Harrah's Rooms I stayed in. Again, maybe because I paid for the cheapest room available. Another positive of this room was the view. True, it is directly above the parking lot, but you can see the whole strip out in front of you as well as a good view of the river and mountains off to the side. I wish I could download the pics I took, but there was a minor upkeep issue in the bathroom. One of the handrails mounts had fallen away from the wall and even though it is not a safety issue, it just makes the place look run-down. I will say, however, the staff at Harrah's were exceptionally professional when it came to the closure ordered by the Governor. My husband and I stayed until almost the final hour. None were ill-tempered or appeared distracted which I must say was very impressive.

    Bill Collier

I have been a long time customer of Harrahs Laughlin; 3 or 4 stays a year for 20 years. Harrahs property landscaping is beautifully done and maintained, including two swimming pools & spa. The resort is on the shore of the Colorado River with a beautiful beach and swimming area, with a boat dock and jet ski rental.
