    Overpriced and Shabby

The hotel is very shabby and dated not to mention overpriced. $419.00 before tax and resort fee. I thought I would be getting a very nice room for that price. The faux leather furniture was peeling, the light fixtures &door hinges were rusty. The blankets were worn and stiff as a board. The A/C vent thick with dust. Bathroom fixtures dirty.

    Disappointed

Stayed here for the first time from 2/27 thru 3/2/25. Was very disappointed it looked like nothing that was on the web site. That had beautiful orchid blanket at the end of the bed, we didn't see that at all just sheets. The carpet was all stained and the bathroom floor which was tile with dirt embedded in it and the lighting in the bathroom was much too dim. They do have a beautiful pool but I just read on one of the reviews that you had to pay to sit in a chair and it seems the owner answers every review with the same BS. Why don't you do something about these complaints.. There are no restaurants except for the Magnolia which is over priced unless you just have a sandwich, the other places to eat is only the food court like you see in Malls. Its good for just a few days, nothing more.

    Nice but not 5 Stars

During February and March, we actually stayed here a total of 3 times. Each time we were professionally greeted and provided a nice gulf-facing room. The room itself was on the upper end with a comfortable bed and seating. The lighting, in particular in the bathroom could have been better. We also found stepping into the tub/shower to be a bit treacherous as there are no handrails or bath mat to help reduce the potential for slipping. During the last visit, we found an empty wine bottle in the window and the toilet seat was left up. We also might add the pricing on the in-house Magnolia restaurant is more than a little over the top.

    Hotel needs upgrade

Hotel is very clean but worn. I think it's due for an upgrade. Room starting to get that musty smell. Restaurants extremely over priced. Steak and Shake $19.00 for a burger, fries and a soft drink. Breakfast, standard Bacon, Eggs, Potato, One Piece of Toast Coffee and Juice with tip was over $30.00. Casino, very small and very smoky. Even the non smoking area smelled of stale smoke.
