I cannot wait to return to HRH Los Cabos!
A friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos at the end of April 2025 for a week and we cannot wait to return! We booked our included transportation through Vacation Planners ahead of time and found the HRH representatives at canopy nine, just as indicated in the instructions. It was just a short ten-minute wait for our van to the resort, which hauled six of us. We had a nice Suburban to ourselves for the return trip. At check in, Jhon helped us secure a room upgrade from partial ocean view to Rock Star OceanFront One Bedroom Suite and it was extremely well worth it. The sunset views from our room were unbeatable and the room itself was spacious, clean, and quiet. I loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves pounding into the black flag studded beach. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the resort, the food, the service, the room, the drinks, the pools, and especially the vibe! We just had one critique, the lobby bar, Sunlight. The bartenders seemed like they would prefer to be anywhere else. The draft beer (drain) area has a stench that makes the bar smell terrible. It needs cleaning, as evidenced by the drain flies in the bar area. When we mentioned it to the bartenders, they shrugged it off. The lobby bar was one of our first impressions of the property and my friend was not impressed. We loved the breakfast buffet at Ciao, best French toast ever! We enjoyed lunch at The Market, so many fresh choices at the salad bar and antipasti areas. Get Tacos Costra at Umo, they are the best tacos on the entire property! Zen and Toro stole the show for dinner. The Braised Fujian beef at Zen melts in your mouth and Toro had the best desserts on the property, by far. Food and service at both were top notch! We had lunch at Gallos the first day and were impressed, but returned for dinner on Saturday and it was the only sub-par meal we had at HRH. Room service was always decent and delivered quickly! We booked the Tropicat Jazz and Wine Sunset Cruise through Vacation Planners and everything about it was spectacular from the views to the Pezgato staff. We enjoyed sights of various marine life including sea dogs sunbathing, whales swimming, and rays jumping. Beer, wine, and spirits are served along with charcuterie/fromage and fruit. I 100% recommend it. Take advice from the staff and use the restrooms on the boat before heading back to the hotel or be prepared for a shakedown at the marina. On Saturday we arranged transportation (No Uber out of Diamante, hotel arranged transport only) downtown for shopping. Transportation was immediately ready. ($44 USD + tip) We were not prepared for the onslaught of nagging and pestering from every local we encountered. It was difficult to snap a photo or even maintain a conversation without incessant interruptions. We weren’t out long until we Ubered back (~$15 USD + tip) to HRH, we missed it. The staff claimed to have 5500 guests on the property Saturday with six weddings and an event in the conference center but at no time did anything ever seem crowded. Many times we had restaurants and pools to ourselves. Honestly, the place seemed relatively dead compared to a December 2021 visit, but somehow with many more children. Needless to say, there is ample room to roam at this resort. There was quite a wind for our first 5 days, 20-30 MPH. It is to note that the area of Cabo San Lucas where HRH is situated gets a west wind off the (chilly) Pacific and the daily highs were in the low to mid 70s with a strong sun, while the marina/downtown and San Jose del Cabo highs were in the low to mid 80’s with a slight breeze from the east off Sea of Cortez. I brought a light jacket, and it came in handy several evenings at the resort. Be prepared for Legendary salesmen at check in, and another attempted shake down at check out. At first, I agreed to the “90 minute” presentation with Ricardo at check in but later asked hotel staff if the Legendary presentation would take 3+ hours as rumor had it, and she confirmed they will talk until someone tells them to stop. I cancelled as my time on vacation is short and goes by quickly. We were promised two 50-minute massages after we told him we already had two 80-minute massages booked, so kind of silly. Special mention goes out to Sergio Garza (this is two trips now he’s waited on me) and his team at Rhythm/Pulse pools while we were there, Rafael Robles and Jorge. We thought these guys were the best on property. Great service, great personality, and really genuine guys. We also loved Anibal and Uriel, Jhon at the front desk, Hilari and Alejandro at Zen, and Massuret ? (I’m so sorry I can’t remember how to spell her name) breakfast and lunch host at multiple locations like Ciao, of course Mily as MJ, and the young lady pool concierge at Rhythm that told me my smile is like the sun. We cannot wait to return in the future. Thank you for an unforgettable getaway HRH Los Cabos! “Love all serve all.”

Best resort in Cabos - or anywhere.
Hotel is so clean and luxurious, food is amazing, and service is 5 star. We had Raul and Jonathan this trip - and they made this the best trip ever. Very helpful, very accommodating, and simply the best! We will definitely be returning many more times!

Great experience!
Great experience. Our Butlers Jonathan and Raul were great. Food was awesome and the resort is beautiful. I will definitely visit this location again. Hopefully go back when it’s not as windy. Although it was a little chilly, we still enjoyed everything.

I want to share a recent experience regarding the referral benefit. In January, I traveled to Mexico and brought two guests with me. I used my two allocated weeks as part of the referral program, expecting to receive an additional week free. However, I now realize that during one of my reservations, I did not explicitly mention the word "referral." I recall that the representative at the timeshare pitch told me that all I needed to do was bring two guests and use my timeshare weeks to qualify for the referral benefit. Based on this conversation, I believed that simply bringing two guests and utilizing my timeshare weeks was sufficient to activate the benefit. When I recently attempted to redeem the free week, I was informed that the referral benefit was not applied because I did not explicitly state "referral" during the booking process. They reviewed the phone call and confirmed that I never mentioned that keyword, so they are not honoring the benefit. Some may say that it’s my responsibility to read and follow all instructions carefully, including explicitly mentioning "referral" when making the reservation. However, my understanding was that the process was straightforward: bringing two guests and using my timeshare weeks should automatically qualify me for the benefit, based on what the representative told me. This situation has been disappointing, as I feel I was led to believe that simply bringing the guests and using the weeks was enough.
