It’s an expensive and grim hotel trading entirely in not really needed express passes to the theme parks next door.
This is a truly lousy hotel. The fact the management have the nerve to respond to negative reviews with their “so sorry it’s below our usual standards” nonsense instead of hiring a carpet cleaner and getting rid of the stains is a travesty. We were in room 5025, with a view of the bins and a tent for the build crew to have lunch. The carpet as stated looked stained and filthy, we kept our shoes on in the room. The bathroom was dated and badly designed. Like something out of a horror roll but the real horror is that you pay $650 a night to stay in it. The pool area is nice but filthy. They just can’t be bothered to clean in this hotel/hovel. This means the service is also dreadful - their motto should be “we just don’t care”. The cafe downstairs will make you a coffee but take 10 minutes and it will taste burnt. The tables in the restaurants remain uncleared for ages. They really can’t be bothered. We waited for them to bring us our iPad they we left behind for 20 minutes as they just couldn’t be bothered. We were worried about the hotel after Thai one as it was cheaper and we figured would be even worse. It is animal kingdom lodge and it’s the opposite of this. Clean, lovely, amazing service. And much cheaper. I’d suggest you stay there. Or anywhere else really. We chose hard rock for the express passes and honestly the queues were so short at the parks many of the express lines were closed

Express unlimited
Booked this for 1 night, mainly to access the express pass unlimited for 2 days. Nice enough, but wouldn’t stay again for a while. Royal Pacific next time , similar location, amenities and service. Deal for express pass is a must . We enjoyed stay, but wouldn’t rush to return, simply because we’d like to try the Royal Pacific, Portofino or the new Helios first

Hard Rock Hotel, Universal Studios, Orlando
Completed a one night stay (family of 5, 2a 3c (16,14,7). The hotel is not cheap, but factor in two days of express passes and it works out cheaper than just purchasing two days of passes (bargain)!! We arrived early 6:50am and checked in, expecting to have to leave cases in the hold room, but they had a room ready and it was perfect! A pull out bed was added for our youngest, which he found really comfy! Despite a tropical storm/hurricane on the second day of the park visit, it didn’t stop the fun. The hotel couldn’t be positioned any better, literally 4mins walk to islands of adventure! A huge reception area with lots of sofas for tired feet. There is also a lovely and very handy cafe that does take away with a nice little menu, and Starbucks to add an extra caffeine hit if needed. We honestly couldn’t fault the hotel and all their services. Would highly recommend.

False advertising, long lines at front desk, terrible service.
The worst hotel experience I’ve had in many years. Blatant false advertising. A 2 bedroom suite that only has 1 bedroom. On top of that, the 1 bedroom is simply an adjoining room. Horrible customer service. All around terrible hotel. It is close to the park entrances, but that is the only thing you will like about this hotel.

Awful experience!
We took this hotel because the express pass was included and we love the hard rock hotels and did a lot already but this one was so bad! So expensive for old school rooms, we could not take a shower for the 2 days we stayed! The shower was broken! They said they would take care but nothing! The windows are dirty, there was one pin in my room and armed my foot, the pillows are so uncomfortable, only one small blanket I was freezing all the night, even not a free bottle of water for a 700$ night room! Super angry about this hotel 700$ for no shower it is a SHAME! It is a pity because the pool is cool and the restaurant and bar also, but if you have the choice just don’t go for this hotel but take one of the other exclusive for express pass!
