    Please update the rooms!

    I understand people are not traveling as much as they are, which is why Hilton should be updating these rooms! We stayed here 2 nights, one before leaving for vacation, and one on the way home. When we checked in we were told we had to leave a security deposit. Fine not a big deal. The first room we had was #335. The couch was sinking, pictures were missing off of the wall. Not exactly a very clean room. On the way back we stayed in room #402. This room was a huge improvement over #335, but not what we have come to expect from the Hilton brand.

    Rooms are dirty and dated.

    Checked into my room. It had a seal on the door to show it had been cleaned. It was not. There was dirt in every corner, tile was sticky and the tub had holes in it. I then got "upgraded" to a suite. It was worse than the first. Hair in the bed, on the floor, terribly stained carpet. The lobby floor with people in and out all day was cleaner.

    Staff are great, overall the hotel is ok. I would make the following suggestions:  - My room overwhelmingly smelled of old, stale, smoke. Why this is a thing I don't know, but the carpets, furniture and curtains need cleaning to remove the smell, especially since none of the windows open and the HVAC units only recirculate the room air, it does not pull in fresh air from outside.  - If you have apple products, plan on having to call tech support to be white listed because the wifi doesnt like the security apple products have. Not all hamptons are this way, so I am sure there is some adjustment or changes could be made to change this issue.  - Shower water temp difficult to regulate. Curtain is too long and you end of walking on it while showering.  - It's ok that the microwave is the cheapest, smallest one that is sold, but the fridge is so small, not all my items fit in it. The cabinet accommodates a slightly larger size, so that would be nice.  - I don't know why there's wall thermostats if the way to control temps is to use the wall unit control pad.  - Furniture handles/pulls are loose, and there are no cabinet bumpers so they slam shut.   - There's scuffs/marks and dust on the walls and baseboards.  - Door hinges into bedroom are a rusty eyesore, finger smudges on all doors where people touch it.

    Terrible conditions for this Hotel

    This was one of the worse Hamptons we have ever stayed. The whole Hotel was extremely filthy. From the elevators, halls, Conference office room. I clean the conference room so I could use it. The service is very mediocre. The room, had broken doors, mildew on the showers. We book and pay for 4 people but the towels were for only one person. LOL What a joke. I understand that COVID changed breakfast styles but the bag they are serving for breakfast should be regulated. They serve smashed bananas, old expired corn muffins with water. Seriously? There are plenty of other options for packed breakfast. Hampton Inns are varying from hotel to hotel. Some are fairly good considering COVID, but others like this one are a disaster and terrible. We had booked the room two nights and we canceled the last night because of the service and conditions fo the hotel. CHOOSE ANOTHER OPTION FOR YOUR STAY!

    Below average Hampton

    Just needed a place to stay overnight. I stay at a lot of Hamptons and this one needs some attention. Check in was easy. Room was run down. I did get a good night sleep. Bed was comfy. Probably stay at a different place next time in the area.
