Front desk employees were extremely professional and helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately the hotel is run down and in need of renovation. The pool towels were stained and old. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Even though the hotel states they are following cleaning protocol for the pandemic, that was not very evident and we felt somewhat uncomfortable not knowing what was clean and what was not. Breakfast in a bag was gross and the fruit offered in the lobby was spoiled. Not the employees fault but management should strive to be a better fit in the Hilton/Hampton chain of hotels. For a mid-range hotel, it felt more like a budget hotel. Not what we are used to from Hampton Inns. A lot of choices in the Sedona area and not sure we would stay here again anytime soon.
Hotel great location , Bob went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable Hotel was clean & followed all precautions including basic grab n go breakfast , masks in all public areas required Pool was great - (ice machine Not working)
We stayed here while we were visiting Sedona. This hotel is convenient to most sights and attractions. Service was fine, bed was comfy, everything was clean. The pool needed some attention...every time we went to swim, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned out in days. Leaves & stuff floating in it. Otherwise a decent hotel.
Great location , common areas need more cleaning , too many things “out of order”, stupid design of staircase locations
Location - very convenient for west Sedona area. The restaurants and shops at uptown area are no more than a ten min drive away. Devil’s Bridge trailhead is a 15 min drive away . The staff - the check in clerk was friendly and efficient. The room - nothing special , but it was clean . A little bit on the small side ... Common areas - carpets not clean , room leading to outside pool was not clean . The ice machine on the first floor was not functioning the whole two days I was there . There was a sign , stating “Ice machine available on second floor”. The elevator nearby had sign stating : not functioning . To get to ice machine on second floor , one has to exit the building , use staircase outside to re-enter the second floor - extremely inconvenient. Breakfast - simple to go bag . Adequate for a simple breakfast. Coffee / tea always available in lobby , which is a nice touch .
Hotel ok, service and location exceeds expectation.
This hotel is your typical Hampton Inn in appearance, clean, friendly, and not fancy. Where this hotel stands out is the location and the service. Great location, within two miles of red rock hiking and right in the middle of the stores and between two supermarkets (Whole Foods and Safeway). The service was amazing. Bob and Lacey accommodated our unique needs during the pandemic. Bob went the extra mile to make the hotel room comfortable for us, and Lacey made sure I had an environment where I could seamlessly conduct Zoom calls. Overall a great experience!
