Adequate
My first impression was a little disappointing, but it grew on me as I realized that it was adequate. The staff were friendly. The rooms were cleaned every other day. The rooms were comfortable. The room was pretty quiet. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast wasn't too exciting but they had variety to choose from. The Frittata had the best flavor and apples were available all day. Coffee was surprisingly good. We had the dark roast. The pool of dirty the first day and often there were no towels, so had to go ask for them. There was an extra cost for parking, but you park at your own risk so not sure why the extra fee. Several types of pillows to choose from. One piece of framed artwork in the room seemed to fit well but there were 3 unframed items that seemed strange for the setting.

Hampton Inn name slipping.
Hampton Inn, you’re not like you used to be. Informed at check in, parking is $17 a night. Lot was old, loose gravel everywhere. Bathtub filled with water to your ankles, when showering Television had 4 channels; someone had to reprogram it.

Not as expected
We have always had great experience at Hilton branded hotels. We’ve been to Sedona a number of times but this is the first time at this location. What a major let down. VERY dated. Pillow on one bed had black stains on the case and then in the other bed my daughter found crumbs and a piece of paper with a black hair around it. GROSS! We are supposed to stay another 2 nights and I don’t know if we can.

Rock Hard Beds and Dog Hair Galore.
My complaint about this hotel has to do with beds and cleanliness. I have stayed in many Hamoton Inn hotels and normally cherish them for the comfortable beds they have (I have a very bad back from lifting too many heavy things throughout my life). The beds in this Hampton Inn are worse than a motel 6 bed I used to stay in when I was younger. After 4 hours of laying down, tossing and turning, and trying to get my back to not hurt so that I could return to sleep ... I gave up. I arose at 3 am, sat at a desk and did a couple of hours of work, and then checked out and left. WORST beds I have ever slept in. Even my wife, who normally likes afirm bed, arose very early and also complained about her back hurting and how poor the bed was. The second complaint centers around the cleanliness of the room. We have had pets through our younger years and are very accustomed to them. We do not mind staying in "pet friendly" motels, as long as proper cleaning is done after pets have left. Our room was full of dog hair on the floor. We had a wedding to attend in the morning, and after putting on my black suit, my wife glanced down towards my feet and asked what I had gotten on my pant legs. After sitting down to inspect them, I discovered that the bottom 3 inches of each pant leg had somehow picked up tons of white dog hair. This is unacceptable. The room must not have been vacuumed or cleaned properly after the last occupant. For these reasons, I'd recommend visitors seek lodging elsewhere unless you are a fan of beds as stiff and comfortable as the Red Rocks of Sedona and enjoy dog hair clinging to your clothing for the day.

Great property
I think this Hampton Inn is a great place to stay. Everything you need is nearby….Whole Foods, Gas, Restaurants…without the Downtown CRAZINESS🤪! Warm breakfast & pleasant Front Desk! Rooms are VERY CLEAN🥰! Large pool & spa & fitness room.
