Great Family Resort- review from UK family
We visited the Grand Palladium Jamaica for 11 nights in June. We are a family of 3 (couple and 2 year old) from the UK. We had previously stayed with the palladium group in Ibiza so had high expectations, even though there are mixed reviews online. The below is an honest review and hopefully will help people decide if this is the right hotel for them: Pool- the splash park is amazing for kids of all ages. Our 2 year old loved the toddler slides and even went on the bigger slides later in the week as he got more brave. It's the best splash park we have had at a hotel. The big pool is great too - huge with a swim up bar. Worth bringing your own flask as they were always low on cups at the poolside bar. Buffet- food at the buffet is decent. Lots of choice at breakfast. It can get a tad repetitive especially at lunch but we did think the food quality was fine. Restaurants- don't expect michelin stars but the restaurants are fantastic for an all inclusive. We visited all the resturants during our stay and found it easy to book using the app. The Indian, Steak House and Italian were our favourites. The Jamaican is the only restaurant we would give a miss, as it's very similar to the food at the buffet. We also loved Posiedon at lunch for a change to the buffet - the red snapper is a must! Staff- this was the one area we were most apprehensive about before arriving on the back of some negative reviews. Overall 90% of the staff are fantastic. The entertainment team, bar and restaurant staff were really friendly and made effort with our little boy. Special mention to Zoleka at the infinity bar - every night made so much effort with our little boy, she went above and beyond to make him smile. He is really shy but by the end of the holiday he was asking to see her at an evening. Christina was also so lovely to us all, she made lots of effort and again made a fuss with our Son to make him smile. Management- you have two amazing employees here! Tipping- we only took a small amount for tipping after reading reviews but never felt like this was an expectation and did not think this made a material difference to service. Some Americans like to wave their $1 dollar bills at the bar, but I never felt this made them get served any quicker, most of the time. Entertainment- our little boy didn't go to kids club but the Pop team are amazing. He loved the surf party one evening and he absolutely loved having breakfast with the dog characters Raggs and Pido. One of the evenings the pop team ran biscuit decorating which was nice. One flag which didn't overly bother us is the entertainment schedule is only for 7 days, so if you are staying longer than this it's repeated the following week. Beach- both sunset cove and brisas beach are beautiful and perfect for swimming / snorkeling. We read some reviews that sunset cove is far away...its just over a 5 minute walk from the buffet so we didn't think this was bad at all - even with a toddler in tow. Our one only frustration which nearly made us put the review as 4 stars is house keeping - although not necessarily the staffs fault, this is a management problem. Everyday it was a lottery if we would get clean towels and if so, how many. Some days we got 2 clean towels (not even one per person). On 2 days we arrived back to our room and our used towels had been taken but not replaced. On the second occasion I called guest services to request new towels as we had an early dinner reservation. After chasing 3 times, we were told on the phone that there had been a 'high demand' for towels that day, so there was a delay in laundry - I was not impressed to have to use our dirty pool towels after showering. For a 5 star hotel, I think this is an easy fix...management please buy more towels! Overall we had a great holiday and this is a lovely hotel for families. I would recommend this to any family looking to book their next holiday or debating on booking this hotel. Jamaica is beautiful and we will definitely return!

Best resort in Jamaica!
This resort is extremely well maintained and thought out to cater for everyone’s needs and tastes. There are activities everyday, shout out to my yoga instructor KIWI who delivered an amazing session to us. The Jamaican restaurant had been my favourite so far. Every night there is live entertainment and the dancers are incredibly talented. Every staff you meet has a smile on their face and is willing to help you. Definitely worth a visit !

Palladium Jamaica couldn’t pay me to come back there!!
Hi everyone! I have waited months before coming here to do a review as we (myself as well as several of our guests), have reached out to Grand Palladium Jamaica with issues we have had during our stay and still have not heard back from anyone with any resolution! My husband and I had a wedding with Palladium Weddings here at Palladium Jamaica. We were a group of 50 people. Upon checking in (Travel club members) we were advised that the wedding department did not tell them we were coming, nor did they tell them it was a large group of us. Because of this we had nothing in our rooms welcoming us as the wedding couple and no travel club perks were ready for any of us. I am going to try to sum up what we dealt with as a whole: No working tv for the entire stay with numerous calls two complain No slippers or robes Empty fridges in rooms No towels No wifi Room phones not working HORRIBLE wedding coordinator No wedding gifts given that was in contract (massage, Wedding bag given was for just me, nothing for me and my husband Wedding location was full of branches and leaves and my guests used their feet to wipe off as much as they could Reception started late as the mic and speakers did not work Reception water was dirty to the eye, bottled waters had to be brought in Sports bar would only give chicken to people who would give money to the chef behind the counter Steakhouse did not offer us drinks while we waited for over an hour for food that came out completely wrong No calls for transportation back to airport No help with luggage’s And I can go on!! What was so confirming to us letting us know that we were not being crazy is a full coach his of guests were talking about how they will never go back there! It became a conversation on the way to the airport! I do want to say that when my husband and I went to the Travel Club and expressed this they were absolutely embarrassed and pissed! They asked do we feel they dropped the ball with us as their members or was it a hotel thing. It most definitely was a hotel thing! Medrana…our concierge!!! OMG she was absolutely amazing!! She was very empathetic! She made numerous calls to help us! She even went above and beyond to get my husband, brother and father in love a birthday cake being that we were celebrating them as well! I can’t remember the guys name in the travel club but he was also a gem! We explained to him how we have been to Palladium in DR several times and the experience was unmatched! But we chose Jamaica to have our wedding to feel more “at home” and was completely let down! Since April, even with some of the guests emailing while sitting in the airport on our way back, we have still not been important enough to have been contacted by Palladium Jamaica! Today is June 30th!! No one is that busy!! People are still asking us how was the wedding and with each time we are blessed to speak of the things we enjoyed BUT it always brings back all of the bad outweighing the good! We were even told by a manager of the steak house that “oh, I see you guys laughing so I figured you were having a good time”. My brother responded, “yes we were, that’s just who we are as people! But that doesn’t change the fact that this service and food is horrible!” We are not at all giving up on Palladium just yet as travel club members because again we had an amazing time each time we’ve been to DR and we are going to Cancun Palladium in October. However, Palladium Jamaica couldn’t pay me to come back there!! EVER!!
