One word Amazing One Love
Me and my wife celebrated our honeymoon/5 years together and this was definitely one to remember. Not only was the resort amazing and had so much to offer, the staff was all friendly and accommodating. Big shout out to Amster/Megan/ Virgin Atlantic Rep who helped us on deciding what excursion as the boat party/ Catermaran trip to Negril was so worth the money and we didn't realise how fun the experience was going to be. The food served at the buffet and the steakhouse was delicious. The jerk huts are a must and the different selection of mocktails/cocktails makes the resort a place where you can feel comfortable wherever you are. The beach is one I will never forget as they were the highlight of our holiday, there's such a peace and solice attached to them, even early sunsets and sun rises made me and my wife's time even more special. They cater for everyone here, if your looking to party they have entertainment till the early hours, singing, beach parties and even live bands. If your looking to relax there is a massive pool complex with different parts to it and even a private pool. Not only that there are different sections of the beach attached to the resort so there's always space to relax or even have a nap in the sun... The one thing about the resort the staff are very friendly and mostly always checking that guest are having a good time. 5 star place to be and will have to visit again in the future. Thank you so much love all the way from the UK

The whole truth? Very good Hotel
This hotel is full of surprises, being of Jamaican heritage I could see through some of the fakeness but to be honest, it was humorous and endearing rather than anything sinister. I will start with the staff - Most staff are exceptional, very well trained to greet guests with a smile and a fake American accent that was kinda charming especially as they would immediately break out into their patois in a slot second and not always saying something pleasant. I would say 70% of the time they genuinely cared how your holiday was going. The reception staff are all fantastic and very used to dealing with tired jet lagged guests. (I so wish I could remember the name of the two brilliant ladies that went out of their way to help me when my tour guides company let me down). The rooms are an acceptable standard although we have to keep asking for our minibar to be topped up and literally had to beg for toothpaste (odd for a five star hotel). The views from most rooms is absolutely breathtaking - seriously good for your mental health. The cleaning is a fair standard, although here again, had to ask cleaner to clean the tub and shower twice (please provide a soap dish in the shower it’s not too much to ask). Bedsheets were clean,Huge tv with lots of stations. Now the food was something to be enjoyed, so much choice in the Mo Bay restaurant which is their main buffet style restaurant. When I tell you this food is prepared with great care, good hygiene standards and regular changes to what is available throughout the week just amazing, all credit to both the chef’s and the servers they really go above to ensure every single table is served well. We did 4 of the 8 available A la Carte restaurants, to be fair the buffet actually trumps all of them but the Mexican was the most authentic of all. The Jamaican restaurant is just disappointing. The swimming pools are a joy apart from the pool bar staff who were horrible- showing clear favouritism towards the brash show off Americans with their big soggy tips. No tip- no service!!! None of the other bars displayed this disgusting behaviour. The absolute best thing about this hotel is the entertainment team. Both day and night they are amazing. The full sized theatre for evening entertainment is partially enclosed the shows they put on are spectacular compared to European standard. The other thing despite the hard sell, do get a massage at the spa, you won’t regret it!. The catamaran tour to Negril, with snorkelling included is great, especially the Ricks Cafe stop-off, the best day is Sunday as lots of cliff divers to see and generally a really cool vibe. I am going to shout out the gardeners at the hotel, who no one ever remembers because they are so friendly and they keep the grounds exquisite and know everything about every plant. Do stop and chat with them, if you do get the chance to visit this lovely hotel. I definitely would go back.
