    Wonderful time.

13 of us went the week of Jan 10th-17th. 5 different families . We all loved it. Not a complaint, and we have all been to many resorts. We read a lot of complaints about no towels or blankets👀🤷I'm not sure if these people asked any of the nice maid staff for some? We were given soft , warm blankets right away. And the towels were there every day, without the usual hassle of the towel card. Ok the rooms aren't the newest , but how much time you spending in there. Hot water everyday to shower. The best part was the wonderful poolside service all day from the best bartender/ poolside waiter ever Ricardo aka Ricky. He was so quick and happy, brought a smile to us every morning. And the food. So many complaints on the review. I'm confused where you can sit in the sun and eat the best chicken fingers and fries anywhere, chicken wings to die for , taco....the list goes on and on. All right there at the pool Again I've been to many vacations and am generally a picky eater. This food was good!! Ok some things if you were not part of Pyramid can't go to ,but place is so big it wasn't really an issue. The steak house was so good. Again we all loved it. Thanks for a great vacation mexico . You did not disappoint. 🇨🇦♥️

Water, water everywhere except in the mini bar!

Evening check-in was ok although the receptionist was not too helpful on advising us where we could eat at that time. Several restaurants require booking way in advance and reservation confirmation notifications are numerous and require you to be on the ball as they will charge for ones not kept. One of our parties had to move rooms due to the air conditioning leaking. Same party had bad water leakage from rain in the new room. Housekeeping cleaned up spills but left a bucket in the room to catch dripping water!! Constant battle with mini bar being restocked. Had to go to concierge multiple times complaining. Beach and pool were great and well maintained. Wait staff was very friendly. Food and drink ok. Let's face it, this resort is not exactly 5 star. Probably wouldn't go here again.

    Loud and crowded place

The entire afternoon till late night music is unbearably LOUD!! The ground is clean and well kept but room is dated. Safe box is unlike other resorts, they charge over 7 some USD per day. Food is average, nothing impressive but suffice in terms of nutrients. I will not come back again.

Do not stay here if you’re a foodie!!

I am one to NEVER write reviews but I feel this one is necessary. First, checking into the hotel is a process. Staff will take you into “private” areas based on your reservation and check you in. Do NOT upgrade to the pyramid package. Not worth it at all and there is no difference. Second, the couples I traveled with are pretty big foodies, meaning we love to eat good food at whatever cost. The food at this resort was AWFUL. And I mean really just terrible. Even the restaurants you have to make a reservation for were some of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. The juice and milk at the buffets for breakfast have the weirdest flavor, the deli meats at the salad bars is very similar to spam, we ordered a pizza from Dos Lunas and it literally came with pieces of hot dog on it…just to name a few things. The only few items we had that were OK were from the Coco restaurant by the pool, the chicken fingers from the Miramar, and some items from Maki Taco. The other thing that is horrible is the alcohol. Every single drink that we had tasted like water. No top shelf liquor at all at any of the bars and there is only ONE beer to choose from in the whole resort!!!! I have been to multiple other all inclusives where the food was great, and you could at least get a good mixed drink with top shelf liquor but not here!!! I would not recommend this resort and will not be back.

Health and safety nightmare !!! Rip off avoid honest review you don’t get what you think

Last night of stay fireworks fell all over our balcony embers landed on husband and littered around us to be told not hotels fault !!! Had a children football tournament there so they took over the place could not any service or sleep !!! I I always go away over Xmas and new year have never been expected to pay for gala dinner and show over £350 per night … You will be put in noisy rooms to try get you to upgrade you have access to a third of the advertised bars/restaurants. Rooms are very dated and had leaking toilet damp and balcony door wall was crumbling . The room cleaning was minimal to say the least had fluff under beds for two weeks and dirty towel left in sink after cleaning. You couldn’t get pool towels and 3 /4 of beds were reserved but no one used them. Waited nearly an hr to get a coffee one person serving and other shop empty couldn’t use unless upgrade. Food was mediocre had stomach upsets was told was the spices but had bad diorhea on a couple of occasions may be the reheated steak in microwave that was cold on serving. Requested water on 3 occasions that day it never came . They exchange your money without telling you the charge and you can’t access the nightclub without using casino can’t use casino unless you gamble. Bar staff hide regularly drinking while you are waiting in half hour queue cocktails are from plastic bags. If you are local you are fine British are treated like a second class person. Reception check in staff are vile and rude … subbed collapsed on my husband he was told he was jumping on it .. water is cold .. the only good thing was a couple of servers at cocoa bar Humberto and Florencio ,made you feel welcome and gave lots of helpful advise mariella did her best rest need customer service training …
