General policies & fine print
Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. Upon check-in, guests are required to pay the local government's Environmental Fee and the Resort Fee directly to the hotel. The combined total is $185.00 Mexican Pesos per room, per night. This amount is subject to change without notice.
Any guest under 24 years old traveling without a legal parent/guardian is required to pay a mandatory non-refundable insurance fee of $30.00 USD per person upon check-in (this fee must be paid in cash).
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention that is held elsewhere cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending an off-site convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - This hotel cannot guarantee a spring-break-free environment.
Transfer Policy - Transfers to/from the resort are not included; transportation can be added during checkout.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price.
Minimum night stay restrictions may apply.
Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.
Student/Youth Policy - Legal age for check-in in Mexico is 18 years of age. All students under the age of 18 years old (but no less than 17 years of age) traveling without parent(s), will be required to present parental acknowledgement that the student is allowed to travel internationally and will accept full responsibility for their actions while on property. For every nineteen (19) students under the age of eighteen (18), one (1) adult chaperone (minimum 24 years of age) is required staying on property.
- Student/Youth Travelers are defined as any person under 24 years of age, traveling without legal parent/guardian, and is applicable at ALL Oasis properties on a year-round basis.
- Student/Youth Resort Fee: Any guests meeting the above-definition of “Student/Youth Travelers” are subject to the following security deposit: a $30.00 USD non-refundable student/youth insurance will be collected from each guest at the time of Hotel check-in. Acceptable form of payment: CASH only. Policy is mandatory, per person and not refundable.
- As a general rule, Oasis Hotels & Resorts will only accept Student/Youth GROUPS at Grand Oasis Cancun (not applicable to family travel).

Apr 22, 2025- Extremely Disappointed, Not Truly All-Inclusive
We are currently staying at Grand Oasis Cancun Resort with our family — including kids and elderly parents — and we are extremely disappointed with our experience. This resort falsely advertises itself as all-inclusive, but that’s far from the truth. Most of the restaurants and amenities are NOT actually included in the “all-inclusive” package. The few that are included have extremely limited options and long wait times. We were misled into believing we would have a wide range of dining options, only to find out that almost everything requires additional payment — even basic services you’d expect from an all-inclusive resort. This has made our vacation incredibly frustrating and stressful, especially with children and seniors in our group. We chose this resort specifically because it claimed to be family-friendly and truly all-inclusive, but the reality is completely different. We do not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a genuine all-inclusive experience. Save your money and go somewhere that actually delivers what it promises.

Avoid This “5-Star” Disaster – Misleading and Overrated!
I wish I could give this hotel zero stars. After reading so many glowing reviews, I was excited for a relaxing, all-inclusive getaway—but what I got was an overpriced, frustrating nightmare. First, the food. Absolutely disgusting. Despite the hotel boasting “gourmet dining,” every meal was bland, cold, and poorly prepared. The buffet was a joke—lukewarm, dried-out food that looked like it had been sitting there for hours. Even the à la carte restaurants were disappointing, with overcooked dishes and minimal options. Second, the “all-inclusive” package is a scam. I expected to have access to all the restaurants and bars, but nope—I was turned away from several because they were either “reserved for VIP guests” or required an extra fee. Nowhere was this mentioned when booking. How is it all-inclusive if I have to pay extra for half the resort’s amenities? And if you like standing in long lines for everything, this is the place for you! Whether it was check-in, getting a drink at the bar, I had to wait in endless queues. By the time I finally got served, I had already lost my patience. This is worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Save your money and go somewhere that actually delivers on its promises.

The Tequila tasting with Ricardo was amazing. He is super knowledgeable. He has been involved with tequila for 35 years and it was a whole different experience. I would absolutely recommend this. It is not to be missed. So many things that I did not know about tequila. And I love tequila.

i would not visit this hotel!!!!!
i would not visit this hotel!!!!! The food is awful wouldn't even feed it to my dog went to the restaurant thinking it would be better than the buffet but it was freezing cold like it was sat on the side for hours The rooms are rotten The water is brown and stinks half the resort is for pyrimid missold this holiday. dont waste your money

This breakfast and lunch restaurant is the best in the whole resort. The food is amazing and filled with delicious taste, and to make the place even better the severs are very caring and respectful. They are perfect at their job, fast to get you refills and to ask if everything was good. Our waiters we had were Luis, Ruben, and Antonio, they are amazing! Definitely need a raise and you can tell they care about their job and what the costumer thinks about them. Very clean and beautiful place never had any problems with the food at all. Definitely will recommend this restaurant to anyone that comes to the pyramid Cancun
