    WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR WEDDINGS!!

We fell in love with this resort during our site visit in 2023. The natural beauty of the place, combined with what felt like warm hospitality and a supportive planning team, made it feel like a dream location for our wedding. But sadly, when the actual wedding weekend arrived, the experience didn’t live up to that first impression. To be fair, Elvia and Uriel — our onsite wedding coordinators — were incredible. They worked so hard and truly cared about making our events run smoothly. Our wedding celebrations turned out beautiful thanks to their effort and professionalism. Unfortunately, the rest of the resort experience was a major disappointment. Since our site visit, the resort had changed management, and the difference was stark. Many of our guests shared that staff were rude, room service went ignored, AC and hot water weren’t working in rooms, and restaurants weren’t honoring reservations or accommodating seating even when booked in advance. We also had food service issues at two of our wedding events, which caused delays and stress we didn’t expect. Worst of all, a guest with a nut allergy was told a food item was safe — and it wasn’t. They had an allergic reaction and had to be rushed to the hospital. That kind of carelessness is simply unacceptable. I would urge any future couples considering this venue to ask hard questions and proceed with caution. The location might still be beautiful, but beauty can’t make up for poor service and a lack of guest care.

Worst resort I've visited in years

We were so exciting about coming to Cancun, I love Cancun I lived in Cancun a few years so I just want my kids had a good time as I used to have. But, guess what. I reserved a room with a 2 bed and I got 1 bed, when we came into the room the floor was so wet that my kids slipped, it wasn't condensation,it was wet, I didn't said nothing, took a couple of towels and cleaned it. We when to the pool, eat and at the time to go to bed. Blood in my bed. My son has so many allergies that it was when I drive mad as hell. I don't want anything special, no special treatment I think as a customer when you spent money in a place, by the way not cheap for what it is, you deserve at least be treat right. Why wait till a customer had a bad experience to say sorry. Some of us don't have many vacations in a year and we plan everything to spent the best time you can spent in the few vacation days you have. Just unacceptable.

Great size and service, excursions a plus

Loved the size of this resort....big enough for a good selection of entertainment and dining, but not so big that it's overwhelming. Our oceanfront, swim-out room had an amazing view and we used our balcony pool multiple times a day! The resort was very clean. Every single employee was gracious, friendly, and hard-working. They really seemed happy. The rainfall shower was such a luxury. Also liked how eco-friendly the resort was. Subtracting a star for the small beach, limited shuttles to excursions, and open bathroom walls. The resort beach is very small, in length and depth before it becomes rocky. Basically, you can get up to your knees without water shoes. You do get the free option of going to Maroma Beach as part of your excursions, and that beach is beautiful and had lots of activities. Its only downside is the shuttle service. It runs only once in the morning to the beach and once in evening back to the resort. So if you're wanting the beach for just a couple of hours, you'll have to take a taxi instead. Same for Aqua Nick: only one shuttle per morning and one in afternoon, so that makes for a long day with little ones. If the resort offered more shuttle times, I'd definitely add a star. Finally, the bathroom wall doesn't go all the way to the ceiling, and the doors don't seal well, so we wished for more bathroom privacy.

Worst all inclusive I’ve ever been

Overall really disappointed in this resort. We have stayed in numerous different resorts across Cancun area and this has by far been the worst one. The beach is unusable. Covered in seaweed and just totally unkept. There’s just one giant pool.. not a whole lot to do and really not much for little kids at all. Very few restaurant options. It’s super rundown across the resort, just old, dirty, and outdated. We paid $600 a night which was extremely overpriced for what you get here. I can’t understand how this is a “5 star hotel.” We won’t ever be returning to this resort.

    Disappointed

Based on the reviews and the price we paid, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, our experience was in line with some of the poor reviews here. The worst by far was Chefs Market Buffet. Besides food being super repetitive, the quality wasn't great. Items are constantly running out, and utensils are missing regularly. No fruit available during lunch or dinner. Never seen that before. Asked for milk for a cup of coffee during lunch and was told they were out. By far the worst buffet we've ever experienced. Meal at Jade was pretty bad as well with dishes coming out dry with no sauce. Had to repeatedly ask to fix the dishes. Habb and Wine Room were decent, with Habb being the best. Generally food options are limited when traveling with kids. Barely any service at the pool or at the beach. Beach is very rocky and not swimmable. Still don't understand the purpose of our concierge other than to try to get us to go to a vacation club presentation, which we actually agreed to, but he never showed up! Wound up wasting an hour one morning waiting for him. Concierge deskwas not very helpful either. Made a reservation at a Rincon Mexicano restaurant as it wasn't marked as Adults Only on their app. The guy at the concierge desk told us we couldn't go with the kids and it's an app issue, as it should've been marked as adults only. Fine, no problem. Then I asked him to call one of the family friendly restaurants to see if they'd seat us. The answer was no. There are other issues at this resort that made our vacation quite frustrating. Unless there is a marked improvement we will nit ne visiting again. There are many great options at this price range.
