    Good for families

Hotel has a large casino where one can easily get lost. Food options are good for travelers with children. Kids would enjoy the Tournament of Kings. Overall, the hotel needs to try and make improvements to attract those without children.

    Satisfactory and cheap

Not the first time I've stay here so I knew what to expect but my travel companion was underwhelmed. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. The room was quite adequate, clean and a good size. The hotel/casino is interesting to explore but I was disappointed by how many of the food outlets in the food court were closed early. Overall it's satisfactory and cheap.

    Just stayed one night

We wanted to spend one night near the airport so we chose the Excalibur (mostly for the price) The motel was clean and confortable. But...we were not in our room for five minutes until the fire alarm went off. No fire, but a repeated alarm which interrupted our needed rest. Be sure to check the resort fees before you book. The monorail was nice to visit nearby places.

    Nice stay

I stayed at the Excalibur with my husband and 11 year old daughter in March 2019. The stay was fine.We checked in early, around 8am. There was a line but it moved quickly. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. We chose the Excalibur because we were traveling with a 11 year old (she loved the hotel). The room was clean and as expected with had a strip view. The bathroom was clean. The decor was not new but not ancient either. The room was quiet and not smoky. The hotel was easy to get in and out of, the elevators were easy to find and not too far from the check in desk. The location is at the end of the strip so it was always easy to find seats on the HTC bus.

    Good enough and good location

It was difficult to chose a hotel on the strip and we decided on the Excalibur after reading mixed reviews. Firstly I didn’t find the rooms old or dated. I thought they were fine. No issues. The casino is okay too and probably one of the ones I preferred. I’m pretty sure this is the only $5 table option on the strip. The Las Vegas sign is walking distance, about 30 minutes there and on the way back why not visit a cheap liquor store and stock up!! The hotel itself is a good position to walk the strip. I’d be cautious about drinking at Dicks though. It’s pretty expensive for two beers!! Definitely get a can from the convenience stores on the strip.
