Love this condo
We stayed in unit 1430 for the 3rd time and love it. The condo is spotless, very well kept & the furniture is in perfect condition. The views are unbelievable. The resort has everything you need on site or nearby. The elevators have been updated and are super fast. we'll definitely be back!!!
Ok but not great accommodation.
We had a Presidential Reserve, 2 BR condo. It’s well worn and in need of updating. It’s ranked as a Silver Crown resort but is barely that. They were quick to respond when we needed extra toilet paper, etc. but I was disappointed overall. It was not nearly as nice as the Presidential Penthouse we were in several years ago. I will check for Gold Crown rating more carefully next time.
Emerald Beaches at it's best
beautiful resort. Beautiful emerald beaches. Very nice staff. Very convenient. Staff was very accommodating including beach attendants. The facilities are well maintained. My favorite stateside beach
Nice, but exhausting at times
Parking garage is across the street and is connected to the hotel by skybridge. Cool bar within the skybridge itself. Really feels like a journey to get to your condo. But the condo was clean with working appliances. I believe these condos are owned by different people so you really never know what kind of owner you’ll have. Had a great stay!
Downhill and speeding
My family vacations here every few years. In 2010 this place was beautiful and impressive—the rooms were above average nice and designed—high end bedding, fixtures, etc. Everything was spic-and-span clean. As the years have gone by it has gotten worse and after this year, we won’t be returning. Our room was filthy upon walking in—so much sand on the floor everywhere, toilet seats appeared half melted and scuffed, doors were badly scuffed and puffs of what looked like pet hair were randomly around the room. The sofa had stains and sand on it. Even the spare bag of bedding had pet hair fluffs all over the only blanket in the entire condo and it was rough enough to be a towel. Clearly they don’t trade those out nor check them from one guest to the next. Our tub had scuffs and stains such that it looked like it was dirty. I couldn’t lay clothes on the floor even for a second without lifting them to find hairs of some kind. Bedding was lower than standard and rough as heck. Pillows were nice, they give you a lot of clean towels and beach towels. The tv had cloudy streaky stains all over it like someone had cleaned it with a dirty rag. Tables were chipped, my 4 year old picked up coasters which were cheap plastic rubber and there was sticky dried food and syrup all over them. I had to wash them and scrub them myself just to use them. The balcony, which used to at this place they were very clean and nice, I now found with pet hair fluffs, but worse yet as my daughter ran her hands along the top rail, I realized there were tons of cigarette ashes allllll along it, on both upper and lower rails. The ground itself was literally black with dried black spots all over it, smushed m&m’s still sitting there, just straight up GROSS. Cigarette ashes on chairs as well. Don’t even get me started on elevators, which everyone there was complaining about, which you will wait at at any given time between 15-30 mins. I get at a big resort you may have to wait 10 mins for an elevator. Not 30 minutes or 20 mins though…EVERY TIME. People were legit pissed about this and they’ve been re-doing the same 2 elevators for over a year now since we came last summer. Dog poop lined the outside walkways leading to these elevators on more than 1 day that several almost stepped on. Concierge and customer service desk never answered and the one time they did it was a super rude lady. I don’t expect perfection, but for over $200 per night I do expect a clean room and balcony, clean blankets, an efficient elevator, outdoor walkways not lined with dog poop, and outdoor areas not too filthy for my child to play in. We will be going elsewhere from now on. FYI, it wasn’t just our room. My family had 4 rooms and all of them even presidential suite were crappy.
