    Covid concerns

    We stayed here because of Hilton properties stated cleaning procedures. These were very good. However if you have Covid concerns stay away due to the lack of social distancing and lack of mask wearing. No enforcement, lots of people without masks and not keeping distance. Same on elevators. This concern is also true in the surrounding community. But I would think the hotel would take a more active role. If no other reason than to avoid being sued.

    We stayed here in January 2020 and it was awesome. Stayed again in September 2020 horrible experience. Checked in, wasn't told anything about breakfast... no more fresh omelets. Then our ac wasn't working and we called front desk. The response was pretty quick and after about 30 minutes maintenance man claimed was fixed. We went to bed and about 1am we woke up to ac not working again. We toughed it out till morning because it was so late. So the next morning we checked out and I told the lady at the front desk ac still not working and had a miserable night. Here's her response. If you're a member of our rewards program we can give you some points on your next stay. I wasn't a member and too tired to mess with. So I left very disappointed. 👎👎👎

    Disappointed in COVID cleaning.

    Having recently stayed at 2 other Hilton properties cleaned beyond normal, where I felt very safe, I messaged manager regarding signs of lax room preparation/cleaning. She texted I could change rooms, but I had already wiped down and Lysol sprayed room (there was food left in a drawer, no seal on room). She said housekeeping mgr would call next day. Never did. During weekdays, mostly business guests. During weekend, a loud playhouse, with the parents hanging in rooms while the preteens scream, slam doors, and knock on doors till almost midnight. Nobody wore masks. People stared at us for wearing masks. Breakfast staff tried their best to keep long line moving and tables wiped down.

    When we got to the hotel everyone was very friendly and fast! Check in was so easy! We got the best deal for a suit! The room were so wonderful! They were very spacious, everything was comfy, staff was on point, but the only thing that was hard was the breakfast. We had along line and only one person was working the front.

    I find it ironic I had a terrible stay and my end of stay survey was never sent. I travel for a living and almost exclusively with Hilton. Ive never felt more dismissed than I have by the hotel. The ole if we ignore the problem it will go away mindset. Check in TERRIBLE - Diamond status recognized - NO Different rooms during my stay - 4 AC that worked - 1 Bugs found in final room - 4 When I checked out they ask how was your stay I stated "I had one on the worst Ive even had at a Hilton" blank stair then the offered me a grab and go breakfast.... FOR REAL!?!? There is a Marriott 0.3 Miles down the road - on my next business trip that's who will get my business.
