Average stay long lines
Improve upon queuing process- During check in, breakfast and reception ratio of staff to guest was 2 staff for all guests. This created long queuing lines and expanded time of congregation and congestion. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Location close to Seaworld and Outlets. Hilton website for this property doesn't properly reflect current services impacted due to COVID. Suggest to call property prior to booking. Example: Premium room category is available for booking (higher rate) however the services are not available. Hot tub not available, spa not open. Shuttle runs 1x day. Manager Marco provided resort credit for the differences in rate. Breakfast/evening reception- signage should be posted describing services provided for the proper line queues. During the evening reception there wasn't a way to obtain non-alcoholic beverages without waiting in the long bar line
10/10!!!! Marco is the man
Marco is the manager at the embassy suites and he was amazing. Rest of the hotel Staff was friendly and the hotel itself was very accommodating. If you are going to Epcot or animal kingdom this is the hotel to stay at.
Not to the embassy suites standard
We visited this hotel for a quick one night stay. As a Hilton Gold member I have been to every embassy suites near Disney and can confirm this is the worst. Below is my fair review: The check in staff is very friendly. The manger Marco is a very understanding guy and seems to care about the feedback I gave him. The evening reception is located outside, the bartenders there are very annoyed with the evening reception, since it is mixed into to their normal bar operations they rather not be giving away free drinks, I asked them what was included and it was like pulling teeth, if you want a mixed drink that doesn’t taste horrible I would recommend paying for one on the standard menu. The rooms seemed clean, the only thing was brown stains on the top sheets which we normally remove anyways. The breakfast was a single file line format with basic hot breakfast items nothing cooked to order which is understandable due to COVID19. The breakfast line was a serving line only, which took us 1 hour to get through, I don’t understand why. The 2 gentlemen running breakfast are very unprofessional, they were having an argument in front of the guests and he kept complaining about guests joining the line because he was ready to be done. Maybe move staff around to help the gentlemen during rush hour, he seemed very stressed! The person cleaning the lobby attempted to put the curtain down and close the juice station while my wife was actively pouring her juice, he only stopped because I walked up, and he continued to tell me “we are closed, we are closed ”. I did bring all of my issues up to management and they went ahead and comped my night, but charged me a resort fee and parking which come out to over $40( side note: I was not asking for anything comped but it was much appreciated that they offered it on their own.) I believe it is important for others to know the current state of a property, especially if they are use to a certain level of service. 2 stars due to service recovery.
I had an amazing time at the Embassy Suites LBV. Despite the COVID-19 world situation; the staff was very attentive and provided a service that was not expected under the circumstances. The cleanliness in the room and all the areas was great. Courtney at the front desk, the morning cook (sorry I don’t have his name), Jaime at the bar and all others did an outstanding job. We will be back!
Disappointing on many levels
We booked a premium suite- after booking and paying significantly more, we found out all this means is snacks, a slightly bigger TV and a keurig. There are no signs near the elevators to enforce social distancing. Breakfast is fake tasting eggs and mostly processed foods. Happy hour was stale chips and watery tasting wine. We had to call multiple times to get more towels and keurig cups. Also there is no housekeeping during stay and forgot to mention that there was already old water in our keurig and the towels smell like mildew. The crowd at the pool was loud and not social distancing. So many great hotels in Orlando I don’t be staying here again.
