Hotel is fine, but parking situation is a money grab
Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel is modern, located in the midst of lots of business buildings/towers, so nothing really to walk to. The major drawback here is the parking. You have a choice of parking along the driveway that surrounds the hotel or going to the far back and entering a covered parking lot. For this, you pay $20/day. You can end up walking a long way from your car to the front door. When you check in, you have to separately register your car, rather than have your name, contact info, license plate #, etc., connect directly from the hotel register. It slows down the process of check-in considerably (remember, you are being charged a daily parking rate in the suburbs for all of this annoying inconvenience). The parking add-on is in teesy print on the website and not on your reservation information. I did read the teensy print; others might be unpleasantly surprised. During my stay, there were teenage camps going on, so there was a lot of noise, running across the hallways, and slamming of doors during the day. If I had spent more time there during the day or tried to work in my room, this would have been a big problem. Fortunately, it was quiet at night. Hotel is relatively easy to get to from I-25, which is convenient.

Exceedingly Excellent Embassy
This Embassy Suites was exemplary! We had the need for an unexpected four-day stay at this hotel due to air conditioning being out at our house. We were hesitant to stay here because our experience at another ES a month ago was poor. Conversely, this stay was excellent for the following reasons: Kevin-Assistant Manger-treated us well, understood our situation, gave us a tour to select the room most appropriate for our family, visited with us through the five days we were present, and last was omnipresent and observed at the front desk, happy hour area, breakfast area, lobby, and more. I think there was more than one Kevin in the building! LOL Tessa-what a personable, knowledgeable, friendly front desk agent. She creates a very great first impression for the hotel. She greeted us, often by names, the many times we encountered her. She listened well and acted quickly. Food Services--the Happy Hour was the best we've ever had at an ES complete with Italian meats, cheese, veggies, fruits, chocolate cake slices, and more. The morning breakfasts weren't only cooked to order omelettes, but also eggs, hash browns, and more. Ernesto oversees the omelet station, is patient with people's request, is efficient at what he does, is personable, and overall amazing. Assisting him at the grill is Alondra who helped me create cheesy hash browns with eggs on top! She was also seen cleaning the buffet area and working tirelessly. In the dining area Amanda worked efficiently and energetically collecting plates from guests, wiping tables, cleaning spills, and so much more. She worked so hard, too, and was kind. Last, we had a few simple proactive repair types of issues that needed to be completed in our room. They were completed within minutes by Ken who even left a note stating what was done and how it was completed. This building, although 40 years old, is in overall excellent condition. Custodial teams work carefully to ensure rooms, corridors, and halls are all neat and tidy and engineering teams work to ensure repairs are made in timely fashions. Thanks, ESDTC staff for helping us out so much during our triple digit degree temperatures. Your gestures and kindnesses were all appreciated!

Ballroom rental.
We rented the ballroom space for a rehearsal dinner and then opened it up for other guests. They offered 2 mesl options salmon and a pork dish. Both dishes were good and dessert to follow. The staff was very attentive, the room was spacious and was ample for the crowd. Room was clean and they gave us time before to decorate it.

Well-Maintained and Welcoming Atmosphere
Offers a lot of value with a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and a free evening reception with drinks and snacks—definitely a highlight of the stay. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The suites are spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing or getting a little work done. That said, the rooms are definitely older and could use some modern updates, but everything was still functional and tidy. One downside is the parking situation. It’s not free as announced but rather costs $15 per night and is managed by a third-party company, which felt a bit disconnected from the hotel service experience. Just something to be aware of when budgeting your stay. All in all, I’d stay here again for the generous amenities and comfortable vibe—it’s a solid option in the DTC area.

We will stay here again without hesitation!
Very pleasant four night stay. I intentionally chose a corner room (716) which had a window in each room with a mountain view in the distance, there was not a window facing the interior which I view as a plus. Rooms were very clean and serviced daily. The towels were replaced even when hung up; I certainly can use a towel more than once! Some dings on the beverage station/micro/fridge console. The table in the "living room" would seat six and there was a leaf in one of the closets; you could host eight for a take out dinner! Our daughter slept on the pull out sofa two nights and said it was comfortable. The evening reception was enjoyable, exceptional service from bartenders Chris and Karina! Breakfast offerings were numerous; my only complaint is that I did not like the coffee, it tasted "burnt". I used the remote key option to check-in, bypassing the desk. I stopped at the desk to check-out and inquired about the $1 2/day parking fee. I was told it was a 3rd party vendor and I should have scanned the QR code upon check-in. The receptionist said that those that didn't pay would have received a card on their car windshield. We never got a card! I said I guess we got away with free parking and she shrugged. I believe that there should not be a fee for parking so I have no guilt-lol! All of the staff we encountered were friendly; the person working the front desk greeted us each time we entered.
