Eldorado A+
This is not my first time visiting the Eldorado. It's one of only two hotels I'll stay at while in Reno. The other just happens to be the Silver Legacy, also part of The Row. I Highly recommend both. I'm always greeted with a smile, and have never been treated like I was anything less than a valued guest.

Worst experience ever. What should have been a relaxing stay, turned out to be a stressful and frustrating experience.
Check in today 4/6/25 @ 4pm. Room given 672 was reeking of cigarette smoke. Transferred us to 661, A/C not woking. Engineering came 2x to fix but can't fix A/C, still 74 temperature. My husband went downstairs to ask to be moved to a different room but front esk refused to process asking for my I.D. THI WAS 8PM already. I called front desk and talked to the supervisor. I complained that the first room change, they didn't asked for my ID, but this 3rd move, they refused to process room change without my ID. I was upstairs in the room with our luggage while engineer was hopelessly fixing the A/C. A tremendous inconvenience for us disabled seniors to be Transferring rooms 3x and going up and down to process change since it it the Hotel's incompetence and lack of customer service and poor facility. Ven talking to supervisor didn't do us any good. Excuses after Excuses. Our first time staying at El Dorado Reno and what a nightmare and worst experience ever.

Went to do a visit at UNR. Will never stay here or recommend this place and we travel a lot.
Dirty rooms and hotel. Terrible service minus bartenders and restaurants. Check in was a disaster. Got to our room took 44 min to get ahold of bell desk to get our luggage. The bathroom was disgusting called 4 times no one ever came to clean it. Ordered room service since the restaurants were closed when we arrived called 3 times to check on it no one could give us an answer. Never got it. Up charges for everything $8 for a coke in the vending machine 25$ a night for a roll away bed. Have to request housekeeping and towels. We paid for a king suit and was not worth any extra money. Lots of transients in the casino makes you feel uncomfortable. Will definitely never come back here.

So so stay
The suite is dated, the bed and pillows very worn out, but the ice machine making ice and echoing down the hallway from 1-2am and waking up to the lound vanging of window washers at 830am on the 22nd floor was absurd. Staff is all very friendly, all in all a decent stay, minus the multiple sleep disturbances that occured during a stay designated for rest and relaxation.

Never again
First trip ever and won’t be back, hotel room was awful. All of the doors/drawers on dresser were broken/unalinged, room was dirty, TV remote had filth on it, nightstand had unknown filth splattered on it, no hot water and tub didn’t drain. Horrible service at Cafe Central as well.
