Eagle Nest #17
Property available through Peak Management for rental. Nice property, average furnishings, excellent views, overall condition is above average. Only big drawback is a less than comfortable master bedroom bed that is super soft and lumpy. Always a steep stair climb to the unit but worth the effort.
Truly an Eagle's View of Mt. Crested Butte
A trip down memory lane for us since we owned a lower level unit over 27 years ago here. A superb view of mountain splendor in every direction. Great decks from 2nd floor main level and 3rd floor bedroom deck to watch the world go by. Easy access to the ski base or drive or take the shuttle to Crested Butte. Excellent restaurants and activities to meet anyone's interest. Be sure to take the jeep tour to get a close up experience of mountain beauty. Physical property is great layout and family delight. Only drawback for those of more age is the stairs in the unit and getting up to the main level. are a challenge in later life., Enjoy nature at its best and luxury for a reasonable price. A summer destination to treat your eyes and a winter destination to enjoy the great snow and winter. Relaxation at its finest.
Great location, spacious, full kitchen
We have stayed at this condo several times. The first time it was a last moment reservation and was around $100/night (some 4 years ago). The second time it cost around $200/night with a 3 night minimum. If you are exploring Crested Butte area and want a kitchen and a spacious place to stay, I highly recommend it. It is cool in summer (located a little higher in Mt. Crested Butte and all the windows open easily at night - much better than the Mt. Crested Butte hotel we've stayed in) Has balconies with rather nice views on both the second and third level. The beds were very comfortable. Six people had plenty of bed space to sleep (three bedrooms). The kitchen is fully stocked, including oil and vinegar, etc. The washer/dryer are in the garage area. Check-in was super easy. The carpet is not of the highest quality, but second (main) level has some sort of wood. The kitchen is outdated (no granite countertops, etc.), but very very functional. The main bedroom was vaulted ceilings and the private balcony. We all loved this place!
My brother's condo
I have been to visit my brother and sister-in-law twice in the summer but in January I visited and got there right before it started snowing and it snowed for 4 days. The condos offer a spectacular view of Mt Crested Butte and the shuttle to the ski area and to Crested Butte stops just down the street although you can walk to the ski area and I have walked to town in the summer. The bike trails are fantastic and user friendly. They have an outdoor hot tub for condo renters.
" Fairy Tale 1 month vacation Mt. Crested Butte "
Upgraded 3 story condo with the Mountain Rustic Cabin feeling. 2 Panoramic balconies view, if you like adventure and being intrepid this high altitude location is for you. We had a car, but you can ride the free shuttle everywhere. Private, spectacular, out of the beaten path, Eagles Nest was a lovely random choice.
