    Exceptional wait staff

The service provided by the wait staff across all the restaurants was phenomenal. The staff was attentive to our needs and very welcoming. I wanted to extend a special shout out to Alberto Ramon Centurion who provided exceptional service at the World Cafe. He was patient, kind and caring.

    First time at Dream....

Over all the resort is disappointing, if it not for the staffs here I would give it a 2 stars.when we check in, weet Gerson the bell men, he went above and beyond to get us settle in, he got all our baggage and show us around and treat us like family. Thank you Gerson for your great hospitality. We up graded to preferred club and also paid extra for ocean view but the staff at the prefer club was terrible, I thought prefer club would give us better service but I was wrong. And our ocean view up grade we didn't get and they blame it on our travel agent, what a terrible excuse. Food are below average, amenities are ok. Beside the prefer club staffs( horrible service) all other staffs in this resort are very helpful and great. And also at the buffet we meet Roberto, great guys, he treat us very well. His service is 10oit of 10. Room wise, it clean and house keeping did a great job. Our house keeper Jasmine did a great jog too. I just want to thanks Gerson, Roberto and Jasmine for making our stay very pleasant and great. So for peoples that think want to upgrade to the prefer club, don't waste your money, it not worth it.

    Great resort and staff!

I'll start by saying this resort was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice, clean and the views were fabulous. The food at the restaurants was probably the best we have ever had on a vacation and the restaurants didn't require reservations. The activities were top notch (special shout out to Brian and Henry). The resort was on the smaller side, which was nice because we got to know some of the staff and other guests. The only downside was that the beach was not great like the beaches in the hotel zone and it was very windy there. I would also like to give a special mention to the dinner staff at the Bluewater Grill. We were celebrating our daughter's college graduation and Luis, Carlos, and Rodrigo went out of their way to make the evening very special!

    Clean, not luxurious

The best meal was the breakfast, everything was fresh. All other food was bland. If you're going to drink, there's several bars and friendly staff. Ton if liquor, not many beer or wine choices. The house wine is pretty bad. Overall, it's clean and staff is friendly but won't be returning.

Didn't impress, but suitable for a short family trip

We traveled here with our four year old daughter for a short 4-night stay. Here are the key points I wish I'd known before booking: - The resort is SMALL. This may be good or bad, depending on your preference. We are just accustomed to larger resorts. They layout is confusing, there are no maps to guide you, and even the map on the app was not helpful. - We stayed in the Preferred Club Ocean View Double with Plunge Pool. Not worth it at all. Preferred Club here seemed to be no different than Standard. You aren't even given wristbands to differentiate the two and this came with little to no bonuses, other than a beach bag and semi-private check-in with snacks and drinks (which Standard stays get at the lobby bar, anyways). Preferred Club does have a private space on the rooftop, but it is adults only. There is also a Preferred Club buffet and restaurant, but you must be at least 13 to attend so this is not suitable for families traveling with young kids. The lunge pool was TINY. I know it's a plunge pool, but we've stayed in lunge pool rooms before and never has the pool been so tiny (only about 2 ft deep, too). - Kid's amenities, like the waterpark, were nice. ¾ of the waterslides were unavailable during two days of our stay due to a maintenance issue, so that was the biggest downfall. The Explorer's Club offers family time each day where parents can take their kids to play, and this was really nice. We didn't have any interest in leaving our child alone there, though, and family time is the only time parents can accompany a child. - Food and dining was subpar compared to other resorts we've visited. The main buffet had limited dining options available and the food warmers were often empty and not refilled. In-room dining had the most limited menu of all and took well over an hour for an order to be delivered. There are a decent among of restaurants for the resort's size and reservations are not required, however overall food quality was just okay.
