Gohan Sushi Bar
5 star restaurant, fantastic food. Loved the attention to detail our server Wendy showed us. Keyed coming back to this restaurant every other day to meet our cravings! - highly recommend this restaurant to all families and couples.

Staff will make you feel welcome and part of their family
Our time spent at the Dreams Resort was wonderful. Staff is so kind and welcoming, and they go out of their way to help you in any way. The rooms and grounds are very clean, food is delicious, and the views are amazing! Multiple staff members stood out to us, but Gabriela, a manager at the Oceanside Restaurant, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. 10/10 recommend.

This hotel lacks almost evertyhing.
I booked this hotel via Hyatt, expecting it will be at good Hyatt level, but this is far below any Hyatt hotel I have ever visited. The food was bland and there was almost nothing to eat. All of us got diarrhea, and a few were vomiting. If you want to lose some weight, this is a place for you. The rooms are ok size, not very big, there was a balcony. The balcony door however was not tight, and the A/C was working constantly, but cold air was escaping to outside. A/C was leaking, but they fixed it. The internet connection was terrible, can't connect and disconnected frequently. They fixed disconnects, but it was very slow. Do not expect any connection except in a lobby (very spotty), and in the room. The pools are nice and big, but they also manage to ruin it by not having enough chaises around. At 7am all of them were taken. The beach is nice and big. There was a water pouring down in the elevators, and it was always wet floor. At some point they just switched off the A/C at the elevators, and the leaks stopped, but it became very hot. We were on extended vacation for more than a month, visiting multiple hotels in Puerto Vallarta area. This one was the worst. I couldn't believe Hyatt bought such a low grade hotel! And also beware that if you pay with Chase Hyatt card, you won't get 4x points for it. Also Hyatt qualifying nights were not awarded so far. Will not recommend this hotel to anybody.

DON'T GO THERE
Stay away, ripoff We stayed at Dreams Villa Magna, Puerto Vallarta, during the first week of July 2022. We love Mexico and visit several times a year, typically with no disappointment. This time was completely different. Even though we paid more than other all-inclusive resorts, we did not enjoy our stay. The room was outdated and there was mold in the bathroom. Hair conditioner was not provided, only shampoo. The linens and towels were worn out and looked more grey than white. The restaurants were limited, with very scant choices of food. None of the restaurants offered charcuterie, the choices of cheese and bread were limited to the cheapest possible. The fruits and vegetables were restricted to the most common. Flies were everywhere on the food and tables. Air conditioning throughout the resort was remarkably inefficient. We stayed sweaty while dining and sleeping. Liquor consisted of the cheapest varieties. Outside of the limited choices, even the inexpensive Mezcal was at extra charge. The hotel has no night Entertainment Hall. Entertainment activities proceeded out in the open, on the Guest pick-up/drop-off area in front of the elevators and the reception area.. The resort does not have service elevators. Most of the time Guests and maintenance personnel use the same (and only) two elevators. It is no pleasure to ride with dirty laundry next to you. We wasted our vacation time and money in this resort. We will never come back and want to warn others who might feel compelled to try Dreams Villa Magna in Puerto Vallarta.

Good stay
I was nervous after reading some of the reviews here but we had a good stay. The rooms are showing some age but very clean as was the rest of the resort. Food was pretty good. Some reviews made it seem like it was terrible but we had some great meals. Gerardo, the pool waiter, was amazing!! He works his butt off! Not all restaurants are open each night so double check with staff. I can see why since there are pretty empty. Staff was sooooo nice. I wouldn’t consider it a true 4 star hotel but definitely not a 3. More like a 3.75.
