Apr 22, 2025Good resort for couples and families
I took my kids, and we had a nice experience. The service was excellent. The Explorer's Club (the children's program) stood out as an especially bright spot. My 8 year old son wanted to be at the club all the time. They had an excellent, caring staff and lots of fun activities for the kids. I went as a single dad. I could count of one hand the number of other single parents there, so I don't recommend it for singles necessarily. Dreams is primarily for couples. And I was not allowed to visit Secrets, the Adults Only area of the resort without paying an extra $50 per day which I found disappointing (adults used to have access to both sides of the resort). Overall, it was a good experience for a relaxing, all-inclusive vacation in Puerto Vallarta, and I would recommend it.

We never felt homesick but felt DreamsVallartaBay sick as soon as we got home. It was one of the best Spring Break ever for us and our little one. Our 1-week stay was pampered by everyone at the resort. The Explorer Club was not only safe but extremely entertaining. The restaurant staff went above and beyond accommodating our allergies(almost vegan diet). They curated dishes that not only accommodated allergies but made us feel more than full. The Shows and Activities are absolutely amazing, one better than the other. The resort is beautifully designed and even beautifully maintained. Everything from rooms to pools are squeaky clean and best of all no bugs !!! The beach is such a short walk that we ended up doing multiple trips. We cannot wait to go back already !!! One more - Costco offers the best packages and we couldn't ask for more !!!#WeloveDreamsVallartaBay

Beautiful Resort
Resort was beautiful. Food was excellent. Really enjoyed our stay. We upgraded to take advantage of the Secrets resort amenities and it was totally worth it. The pools were relaxing and not overly crowded. The beach was well maintained and beautiful. We ventured off the resort a few times and did some souvenir shopping, we felt very safe. We look forward to coming back for another visit.

4th time staying and better than ever!
We cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Dreams Vallarta Bay. First, the staff are incredible. Noemi was our butler at the preferred club and she is absolutely amazing! We can't wait to go back next year to see her and the rest of the team. We also want to recognize Ricardo at the preferred club, our housekeeper Yarely, Jair/Nirvana the management team at the preferred club, as well as Oliver/Oscar/Fernando/Francisco at the restaurants. Here are a few highlights I thought may be helpful to share: - We travelled with our 2 young children (under 5) and my parents (75+) and the hotel accommodated everyone's needs. My father needed to have medical care while away and our experience was INCREDIBLE. They have a doctor on staff who was exceptional. Came to follow up the next day as well. We usually only travel to Disney with my parents as they are worried about seeking medical attention - they feel very comfortable with their experience at Dreams Vallarta Bay and will return as a result of how they were treated. A huge win for our family. - They now heat the kids pool and it is such a welcoming temperature - this was new this past year and something our family appreciated. It is never fun when the kids want to keep swimming but have purple lips etc. The kids pool is a perfect temperature. - The food quality and offerings are excellent for an all inclusive family resort. We were really happy with the offerings and found they have been enhanced since our last stay. If a person is unhappy with the food overall, I would say they have very high standards which would be difficult for any all inclusive to meet. - The hotel is the perfect size - you won't spend your trip having to walk the resort. Every room has a breathtaking view. We totally understand why Dreams Vallarta Bay is one of the most in demand resorts in PV. I wish we could keep this secret to ourselves... but with such a fantastic team there we had to spend time recognizing how incredible they are. We are already looking forward to our stay next year.

Overall, the hotel is ok, near downtown. As members we had a few hiccups and they never did anything. We were promised a door banner and a cake for my daughter birthday, but they never put them up. The hotel is lacking entertainment. during our week stay, they only had 2 shows. At 10:30pm everything was done and dead. I wish they had a foam party by the pool or more entertainment for kids and families.
