Amazing wedding, great week and look, ma no coronavirus!
We had a group of about 20 travel from the US to Dreams Riviera - for our wedding. Marissa Ibarrola, our wedding coordinator, did a phenomenal job of communicating, accommodating special requests and assuring the wedding went off without a hitch! The resort was super clean. The staff went out of their way to ensure everyone was happy. The rooms were great. And the food was probably the best we've had from a resort in this price range!
Had to cancel due to Corona Virus
Just a quick note to assure folks that money will be returned after virus forced cancellation. The UVC group did state that it would issue a full refund within 60-90 “working” days. Our group had 5 rooms & suites reserved and ALL were refunded within 75 working days. First Class organization! Thanks
Great Time and Excellent Service!
I would highly recommend Dreams Riviera. The staff, food, and room were amazing! Will be returning for another stay. The staff was exceptional. We upgraded to a preferred Suite and it was well worth the money. Pools and service at pools was exceptional. Also, the food was great.
We where welcomed from the start to end. All staff make you feel at home and attention is unmatched. Food was great and facilities where also in great shape. During this Covid Pandemic they where extra careful checking temperature at every restaurant to be safe.
Very Nice Resort, Fantastic Staff
We had a really nice week at Dreams Riviera Cancun. Traveled 7/08 - 716. The only negative was that we were supposed to be staying at Now Natura, but since Natura is still not open we were sent to Dreams. This was the second time we were booked to stay at Natura and were sent to Dreams. (We stayed at this Dreams in December for the same reason). We were never told that Natura was not opening as scheduled on 7/01. We just happened to come across something on the internet two weeks prior to our arrival that said Natura was being rebranded into a Dreams and was not opening until 9/16/20. No one from AM Resorts ever contacted us, so if we had not seen it on the internet we would have showed up at a closed Now Natura Resort. Now about Dreams Riviera Cancun. Our family (eight of us) were nervous about travelling during this Covid 19 pandemic, but made the decision to go anyway. Once we were at the resort, we felt very safe as the safety protocols there were better than at home. The resort was at about 23% occupancy. They are only allowed to be at a maximum of 30% occupancy for now. Everything was about safety. As soon as you arrive they spray hand sanitizer in your hands and you sanitize the bottom of your shoes on a sanitizer mat. They checked your temperature also. This was the way it was when you entered and left any of the restaurants. All employees wore masks at all times. The buffet was only open for breakfast and they would serve you what you wanted. There was no self service. The resort was extremely clean with hand sanitizer stations everywhere. There weren't menus at the restaurants (unless you specifically would ask for one), you would scan a QR code with your phone to read the menu. They would place the utensils in front of you using tongs, never touching anything. All place mats and tables and chairs were sanitized after you got up to leave. There was social distancing at the pools with two chairs spread out about every ten feet. The pool chairs and whole pool area was sanitized every morning. The beach was not swim-able when we arrived due to the weeds, but after the third day, the tide changed and after the workers finished cleaning, it was spotless for the balance of our stay. The workers worked tirelessly trying to stay ahead of the weed issue. When we arrived, we were offered an upgrade to two of the Preferred Club Ocean Front Master Suites on the beach for a minimal charge. The rooms were clean, bright and fantastic. All of the toiletries were sealed in plastic. The service at this resort is second to none and we travel extensively in Mexico. The food is average to above average depending on the restaurant. The pool and beach waiters were great. Santiago always made sure we had a cold drink. He worked non stop to make sure we were taken care of as did Julio at the pool. Luis at the beach bar was great as well as Umberto and Adolfo. Enrique and Clever at the Preferred Club and lobby bar also added to the welcoming feel of this resort. Also the restaurant waiters, especially Alfredo made our dining experience special. We were in touch with Cesar before we arrived at the resort. When we arrived he took care of all our needs from dinners to day passes making everything about our stay enjoyable. They all address you by your first name making you feel like they know you. The whole staff at this resort works very hard to make sure you have a memorable stay. If you want to have a great vacation, don't hesitate to stay at The Dreams Riviera Cancun.
