May 11, 2025Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort, an illusion of prosperity, unsafe and very expensive
We went for a wedding with friends and family, in the wedding day , only day when we left the valley in the room between breakfast and lunch, we found the housekeeper inside the room doing nothing, no cleaning or changing the towers, we asked her to come next-day as we have to dress for the wedding, after she left we found 350$ missing from our valet, we requested investigation but nothing has been solved, we have been told she was the only one which entered in the room and she mentioned she cleaned and changed the towers, what a mess.Very much noise, during the nights, cats moving around at second floor and dogs free on the beach along with capybara and possums Diluted drinks are served at the beach bars, restaurants overestimated, when in fact maybe one can be quoted higher, the Boudreaux Restaurant along with the Buffet and Cafeteria.They offered events with the condition to give a rate of 10, but they recycle what food was not served over the day(in our case was the green salad and mushroom soup from Himitsu Restaurant), with not too many options, servants are untrained just beginner's, they don't speak even english, if you ask for maintenance you lose your time, hot water is cold, cold water is hot, however you are lucky they did work.With half price you can have the event of your life in Europe (Turkey, Greece, Spain ,Albain(, etc) or Cuba.The food might not have the same variety but at least the alcool is expected to have decent degrees The safety of your customers , if I can rate the experience should be on the minus.They should hire people which don't check your luggages looking for money, serious people. Do the work if you need to do repairs not by 7-8am in the morning. In our case, .the water from the shower worked in reverse mode, hot water on cold and cold on hot, we have been lucky, our friend has only hot water on both cold and hot , she asked 3 times for a worker to fix it or to have the room changed and they didn't fix or changed her room, working is below expectation,they paint the doors during your stay, wedding spaces are very crowded and not very private.Too highest rates for the hotel and services provided, unfortunately, we heared not from us the same opinions but even other customers taking around us.

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Especially Antonio. He was always getting us involved in activities and helping us with questions about the hotel and area. Good selection of food and lots of activities. Rooms are very clean and tidy.

Excellent
This resort is absolutely amazing. I booked for my wedding here and had nothing short of a great experience. After a few bumps in the road regarding wedding planning and coordinators, the resort went above and beyond to make sure my day was so special. Fernanda was absolutely awesome, not to mention David, our server for our cocktail hour and reception never let me drink get warm! I always had a fresh drink in hand and David made sure we were taken care of. Besides the wedding, all of the staff, especially the entertainment staff Antonio and Mauricio, went above and beyond to make my guests and myself feel welcome at the resort. I cannot say enough good things about our stay! Well done, Dreams!!!!

Excellent service!!
Antonio was amazing!!! He helped make our experience at Dreams resort amazing. Antonio was always cheerful and helpful. Whenever we had a question he would always answer it with his honest and thoughtful words. We would be walking around and he would say hi with my personal name. Cheers to him.

Great place for all inclusive hotel. Wonderful pool.
Beautiful hotel with amazing beautiful big pool with view to the ocean. Great service ; willing to help anytime of the day or night. Different stile of restaurants so it easy to find what do you like. The food is good but don’t waste your time on the desserts. Good place with young kids.
