Amazing service and incredible staff at Dreams Punta Cana
My two teenage kids and I just came back from a wonderful trip at this beautiful hotel in sunny Punta Cana. We were super satisfied with most of the amenities and were delighted by the cleanliness of all of the facilities at all times of the day or night. But what made our stay special was the incredible staff we met, especially in the preferred club. Llino at the bar was exceptional. He made me and the kids feel welcome from the moment we stepped into the club and was more than responsive to us all week, ensuring that we felt comfortable and happy and serviced us tremendously well. Aracelis and Leonardo ensured that our requests were responded to immediately. And Juan Carlos helped us get the super important information we needed for our trip back. The preferred club made our stay at the Dreams Punta Cana all the more memorable. Definitely recommended for families or couples or friends wanting to get away.
We had an incredible time this week. A very big part of that had to do with the hotel entertainment team. They had a great show each night and always make sure everyone is having a good time. Angel, we will definitely be back to see you soon! Oh, and my man Carlos at the lobby bar will make you the best drink on the island!
The resort is in good conditions, out of all the resorts in Punta Cana, you can tell that this resort is one of the oldest ones but it has been kept in good condition. Staff is very nice but the server, chef & host of the buffet make you and you family feel special. I recommend you ask for Willie (server), Juana (host) and William (Chef) so that they can make your stay excellent. You can also ask for Carlos at the bar for late night drinks :)
Amazing resort with Beautiful weather and Beautiful People.
Just returned from our relaxing vacation at Dreams Resort. Weather was perfect. Service was EXCELLENT and the atmosphere was Amazing. My Wife and I would like to thank the hard working staff. Omar, Jeffrey, Eduardo, Santos, Eduardo at the Grill, Radhames from room service and our daily entertainment Black Panther. Can't wait to return! Definitely a trip we both needed and enjoyed.

This is an all inclusive resort where food and beverage including alcohol, entertainment, beach and water toys(mask snorkel paddle boards kayaks sailboat) chairs and towels are included. All the employees speak Spanish but many of them know English. Some better than others. We had no major problems communicating. I read many of the reviews especially the negative ones that were written in the past month or two before booking. I was pretty apprehensive to say the least but my Apple vacations representative convinced me to give it a shot. The nice thing about Apple and their associate Amstar, is they reliably handle everything. Flights ground transportation accommodations etc. I was highly impressed to say the least. Everything went according to plan on the way there and back without a hiccup. Although we did purchase the travelers insurance as a precaution at about 100 bucks a person. This resort offers a preferred club upgrade at the time of booking as well as at check in but we did not take advantage of it. The resort was only about 35% of capacity which was really nice for getting great service, And there was adequate staff. No waiting or crowds. Everything appeared to be kept clean and sanitized as much as possible. All the employees wore their masks properly at all times. most of the guests did not wear masks except in some situations. Most of the employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. They understand that customer service and a good attitude is their job. Being friendly courteous and patient with them goes a long way also. Our favorite was Juana. You can tell she is smiling even with a mask on! Accolades also go to Luis, Joel, Ben Franklin, Franklin, Angel, Giovanni, Francisco, and the main server at coco cafe. The resort is beautiful and nicely landscaped. The pool is the most impressive pool I’ve ever seen. Many rooms were poolside and just a few short steps to the pool. There were 2 to 4 restaurants open at any given time which rotated each day to allow for different cuisines. All the food was very good to great although the buffet had a variety, but was not highly impressive. All the food was served by the staff by request. I was pretty disappointed with most of the desserts and pastries, especially at the buffet. My main disappointment was not having an extravagant night where selections such as lobster or crab legs and shrimp, prime rib etc were available. I wonder if Covid and low capacity is a factor. Beach was very nice with more than enough areas for shade if desired. There were some beach vendors that walked back-and-forth but we’re not overly pushy or too annoying. One of the things that annoyed me is that the front desk was unable to provide change for a $20 almost every time I asked so I could tip the employees. While it is not necessary to tip, and the employees showed no sign of expectation, they do rely on them to make a living. And I personally believe that if they provide good or exceptional service they should get some thing for it. Waiters, bartenders, hosts, pool and beach staff, maids and entertainers, drivers, and luggage porters. Don’t you usually leave a tip when you go to a restaurant or bar? I usually plan to spend about an extra hundred dollars or more per week for tipping. Shame on you front desk for hindering my ability to tip the workers. Another thing they could improve on is the entertainment. During our stay there was live music, dancing to music, a game night, and a magic show. The staff was talented and put effort into their performances but they lasted 30 mins to an hour maximum. It is likely because of COVID that this resulted but I still wish they would have had maybe 2 shows a night and more variety. Overall this is an excellent resort and the employees do a great job considering the current circumstances. And a lot of my critiques are minor or are due to COVID. I would definitely book with a dreams resort again
