Dreams Natura Wedding
We got married at Dreams Natura in June, 2021. The staff and resort went above and beyond!!!! The wedding was absolutely magical!!!! Jennyfer was AMAZING and nailed every detail!!! The Satan and resort are a dream to work with!!!! I would highly recommend Jennyfer to plan your wedding and to stay at Dreams Natura. We have been as a couple and went back for the wedding with family and our children, ages 9 months to 14, and they all had a fabulous time!!!!
Johnathan and Sahori made our nightmare of a trip so much better. After switching hotels, we were pretty distraught. They provided excellent customer service and are a large reason why we had such a good time!!
Overall experience was just ok. Sahori from the entertainment team and Waiter Jonathan were the highlights of our trip. Both were very helpful and friendly. Lack of evening events and everything closing by 11 - 12 is what is driving my review. Also the food was just ok.
Hotel, staff and food were lovely - sea and beach not good in June!
We stayed with a group of two families for a week. We were staying with certificates for free rooms, because of the delay in the resort opening in 2019. I see some people gave poor reviews based on the beach and the view. The beach WAS covered in a lot of seaweed that the employees were forever raking up, and the sea was kind of gross and seaweedy as well. But, that could easily be because we were there in mid-June, at the start of the rainy season. We did not expect an ocean view, so were unsurprised by the site of the unfinished building on the property next door. Between the buildings was a swatch of jungle - with water running through it, and tons of birds! I thought it was fascinating, and it was nice not having people across from us. We had a little view of the ocean from our balcony. The service was often slow, but that does happen at this kind of laid-back all-inclusive resort. THE GOOD STUFF: The food at the buffet was what you would expect - highly edible and lots of variety. Not amazing, but good. The themed restaurants were excellent, probably the best food we've ever had at an all-inclusive. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. In particular, Ángel and Carlos at the buffet (World Café) were wonderful. At the Italian restaurant (Portofino), the hostess, Isa, was very welcoming and helpful, and Rodrigo, our "cheese waiter", was hilarious and warm - and the focaccia with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and fresh parmesan scraped from the giant wheel at the cart next to our table were a real treat! The 24-hour Coco Café was a wonderful spot to drop in for a pastry, hot coffee drink or ice cream. The staff there were so helpful - they spend all day giving people what they ask for - I never heard them say "no" to any request! Another BIG PLUS of this property is the whole pool area. The WATER SLIDES are very fun, and there is a fantastic water playground area for smaller kids. We also greatly enjoyed the lazy river feature. There are plenty of big blue floats for the slides and lazy river. We did not get to ride the sky-rider type attraction, which simulates paragliding. It looked really fun! The final item I'll mention is the SPA. My masseuse, Brenda, was very sweet, although you might want to specify firmer massage if that is important to you. The highlights of the spa are the CAVE-GROTTO DECOR, and the HYDROTHERAPY pool. The cave feel of the spa area is beautiful, as you can see in the photos, and very relaxing. The hydrotherapy pool has different kinds of jets and bubbles to massage your body - and it's just really fun! Make sure to try to the plunge pool (brrrr!) to feel extra refreshed before you jump in the hot tub jacuzzi. Depending on what you are expecting, you can have a wonderful time at this resort! The pool is beautiful, lots of deck chairs and umbrellas, and the pool was always spotless and a perfect temperature. We even hung out in the pool and in the deck chairs while it was raining! It was so pleasant! A beautiful property if you want a relaxing tropical spot to just hang out. The beach was disappointing, but we could have taken a boat ride to another beach for the day if that was a priority.
A Bid Let down for a Dreams Resort
Had 10 rooms for family vaca. I usually only book AM RESORT Properties, It is sad to say that this one is one We will not return to. It has to be the most terrible Buffet we have ever encountered. A Brand New Resort. The food on the buffet were barely luke warm. The choices very limited. We tried breakfast, lunches, and dinner. All very bad. The service was ok, It was set up for people going in 2 different directions, . Running into each other. The specialty restarunts were ok, but nothing super. Rooms were fine. Preferred lounge , not up to par for what other Dreams. Daughter forgot combination to safe , took me call 3 times over a 2hour period to get someone to come up. I actually had to finally go to preferred lounge the 3 rd to get this done. Took him about 2 minutes to clear off code. wasted 2 hrs in room for this. Some of the pool bartenders say they can't make certain drinks, because they don't want to mess with doing it. Beach has seaweed as most do. expected that. Just a shame for a new Resort to start off Bad. Oh well different resort next time. BTW I am also a Travel agent..
