We’ve just returned from an unforgettable stay at Secrets La Romana in the Dominican Republic, and I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable holidays we’ve ever had—so much so, we’ve already booked to return next year The food was consistently excellent across all restaurants. From fresh seafood to international cuisine, . The cocktails were fantastic, especially enjoyed poolside in the sunshine. The Preferred Pool was our sanctuary—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and made extra special by the incredible team who looked after us daily. Huge thanks to Diorka, Wilfredo, Madeline, Olga, Belgica, José, and Katerin. We especially want to thank Bianca and Danny in the Caoba dining area—their energy, professionalism, and welcoming smiles made every breakfast and lunch a pleasure. They brought such a personal touch to the dining experience and made us feel like valued guests every time we walked in. Our room was immaculately cleaned every morning and always felt fresh and inviting. A special mention goes to Carmen, who greeted us each day with a warm and friendly smile. Her attention to detail and genuine kindness made a real difference to our stay—thank you, Carmen We are counting down the days until we are there again.

Noor Restaurant , Secrets La Romana.
Secrets La Romana was perfect for our 32nd wedding anniversary in July 2025. The variety of restaurants were quite impressive. However, Noor Indo - Mediterranean was head and shoulders above all the restaurants. The staff and their hospitality levels were exquisite and the food was exceptional and very authentic. Secrets was great, Noor restaurant made it an absolute experience

Quick trip to Paradise! Will definitely be back
We had such a great time at Secrets La Romana! The pools and beach were both gorgeous, we spent all day everyday relaxing in the sun. Our room was super clean, really nice, and had an awesome view even though it was just a partial ocean view. Air conditioning was great and no issues with hot water in the shower. We stayed in the Preferred Club and got paired with the best butler ever—Byron! He seriously made our trip so easy and fun. He helped us book dinner at Sakura and brought us a cooler full of drinks (coors light for my dad) to the beach every day. He was always checking in to see if we needed anything, and on our last day, he surprised us with piña coladas in fresh pineapples. Would 100% recommend staying here, and if you can, ask for Byron! All inclusive food generally isn’t very good but the restaurants here were the best I’ve had at any resort. However the buffet was unimpressive, we went once and did not return. Breakfast at Mare (preferred guests) and lunch on the beach were the move for us! I’ve stayed at 5 different resorts on this side of the island and Secrets is my new favorite. I’m a Hyatt lover so very happy they’ve taken ownership. Will definitely be back!

Perfect for a beach loving couple’s getaway!
Second time at Secrets La Roman (stayed on the Dreams side 7 years ago) and it was even better this time. I think anytime my wife and I do all-inclusive, this is the place for us. However, it’s our favorite for a few reasons, and everyone’s preferences may not be the same as ours. For us, here’s what was great, ranked highest to lowest. 1. The beach - Outstanding! If you want a great beach with clear water and NO seaweed, this is the place for you! This was our main reason for coming. When almost everyone else is experiencing bad seaweed, Secrets/Dreams La Romana never does because of where it is on the island. 2. The service - Excellent! We stayed in a preferred club room (an absolute must) and we loved our service. Our butler, Byron Mercedes, did an amazing job! Took care of anything we needed. Extra star on this review just because of him! We loved the preferred beach, pool, lounge and bar. So much better than the other areas. We also got a beach cabana. Pricey but totally worth it so I didn’t have to stress if I could find a lounge chair. 3. The restaurants - very good. Most of what we had was excellent and I certainly never went hungry. A couple of dishes weren’t great but that’s bound the happen. 4. The evening entertainment - just ok. Admittedly, this is the item of least importance to us as we prefer to relax back in our room. However, it would have been nice to see more places with people dancing and a fun environment. Maybe it was there and we just never stayed up late enough to see it! Lol. Overall, it was great. Exactly what we needed. Will be coming back!

I've recently stayed at this beautiful resort. I've had a great time. Stayed for 2 weeks it was our second time here before they changed to Secrets. People are very respectful. Big shoutout for Carlos King who made our stay way better than we could imagine. We clearly will comeback to this place. I also want to thanks Watson for the lobster party and all.
