We recently stayed at Dreams Jade and while the hotel room felt a bit outdated and initially left us a little disappointed, our experience was completely turned around thanks to Roberto. He truly made the difference in our stay. From the moment we met him, he was attentive, accommodating, and always one step ahead. He handled all of our requests with care and made fantastic suggestions that helped us enjoy our time comfortably and stress-free. One moment that really stood out was when Roberto correctly guessed a set menu for the French restaurant to help our large group dine together. If not for him, our late-night dinner could have easily turned into an all-night ordeal. Thanks to his quick thinking and great service, everything went smoothly. Overall, while the room could use some updates, the level of service—especially from Roberto—left a lasting impression.

I got married at this resort 14 years ago and it was a wonderful experience. Food was great. Drinks were good. Staff was unbelievable. Grounds and rooms were great. Fast forward 14 years later to last week, grounds still beautiful and most of the staff great. Suhjel, one the entertainment staff was amazing. She made every event fun and I’d go back just to see her. Edder and Angel, 2 of the waitstaff at the main pool were amazing as well. Service was outstanding and They were very attentive to our needs and friendly. Most of the entertainment at night was good. Silent disco party was the best. Now the bad parts, room was disgustingly dirty upon arrival. Dead bugs, hairs, fake eyelashes everywhere. We expressed our concern to concierge and they fumigated and cleaned room immediately. Thank god. If you want a chair at the pool or beach, it’s imperative to go down at 6:30 or 7am to put towels out. Otherwise no chair for you. The pool was beautiful to sit at if you were able to get a spot and even then, some areas had no umbrellas. Those were the chairs that were likely available. In order to go to Spice, the hibachi restaurant, you need a reservation. That’s the only restaurant you have to make a reservation for. But you have to wait in the lobby until they open the reservation book at 3:00pm. They don’t open it until then. Most people got to the lobby by 2:00, to wait an hour and hopefully you weren’t the 20th person on line. If so, no reservation for you and back to the lobby the next day at 2:00. The food at spice was mediocre at best. Rice was great. Vegetables were good. Steak, chicken and fish were almost inedible. Our chef Miguel, was good and very entertaining. The buffet was ok. Eggs were terrible. But my kids lived on crepes and fruit. Lunch at the buffet was not good. Service was very good at the buffet. Capers was not great. Food was flavorless and not huge variety. Willy, our waiter was good. Cin Cin, the steakhouse, HORRIBLE. Only good thing about this place was the shrimp. Otherwise it was disgusting. Worst steak we have ever had. And the waiter was very short with us, likely because we were there on the later side. That said, we made the best of our vacation. A lot of things have changed in the past 14 years since we were at this exact resort, but not good changes. Major upgrades need to be done and Food needs major improvement. I have been to many of these Hyatt resorts, some more upscale than others, but this one I will never return to.

I already reviewed the hotel itself but didn’t want these staff to get overshadowed by my last review. Thank you to Maureen over at the Preferred Club. We were checked in and given all of the relevant information needed by Maureen. Very personable and knowledgeable. Easy to talk to, you can tell that she genuinely enjoys meeting and interacting with people. We saw her quite a few times over our 10 day stay and Maureen was always happy to chat with us. I would say she went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. She even organized to have a special treat sent to our room for my birthday, it was appreciated. Also would like to thank both Maria and Roberto as well. Very pleasant staff and always eager to ensure that everything was up to standard and going well. Thank you again guys for making my birthday trip an amazing one!

Dreamy paradise! Awesome resort!
Wow! My wife and I are exceptionally happy with this resort! This is a very smartly designed, very accessible place with extremely kind workers that go above and beyond to make you happy! Juan in the French restaurant is a fantastic waiter, fun, witty, knowledgeable...Angel at the pool is amazing, he is so very kind and nice, a gracious gentleman! Israias (sorry for the spelling) bartender at the pool is an incredibly hard worker and super nice! There are so many more...the resort itself does not lack anything...the restaurants are awesome... the buffet is great...anyone that complains about this resort is ridiculously picky ! Every resort has minor glitches that are not worth mentioning! Amazing service, food, and great entertainment! Fantastic experience! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Great weeks vacation on one of Mexico’s premiere resorts
Fantastic resort and just what you would expect. Drinks food and making new friends. Julian our butler and Marie yeah Josie were awesome to work with. This has been a great experience. I suggest the preferred section and the staff on that side were more than accommodating
