    Good hotel

We enjoyed our stay here. The bed was comfy and we had a lot of pillows and blankets. The room seemed clean. The shower was pretty cool and had good temperature and water pressure. Room service is by request only, and every employee we encountered was great. The parking situation was easy and convenient. Our stay was quiet and nice. I'd go to this hotel again. There are elevators, vending machines, ice machines, a pool, a game room, an exercise room, and breakfast is also available.

    A disappointment overall

I am preparing to check out, and I will write this while the hotel is fresh on my mind: 1. We were promised a state discount as government employees, and I displayed my ID upon check-in. At check-out, the rather surely clerk said that only applied to Missouri state employees. 2. Speaking of surly, every employee of this hotel, with one exception, has been cold or indifferent. The lady who checked me in was uncaring and mumbled, the woman opening the door at breakfast has been grumpy, and the one housekeeper I encountered could not get off her phone to answer a query. The gentleman making omelettes, however, was friendly and nice. He needs to lead a training on customer service. 3. The lobby is attractive, the elevators are nice, and the gym is satisfactory-although it lacks a Peleton. 4. My room is dark and drab with old furniture. It is clean, and the electronic shower works well. The AC Marriott around the corner looks much nicer.

    Nope.

Blood on the sheets. Broken cabinets. Alarm made noise all night. Ceiling in the lobby is missing. No grout in the bathroom tile. The shower was very modern and new/ but the rest of the experience was like a motel 6. Even the pillows have alarms (like clothing tags at a retail shop) so they aren’t stolen.

Hotel returning to its glory days

They have done a great job cleaning and renovating this hotel. Great tv channel selection. Renovations continue. The breakfast buffet is hot varied and exceptional. The executive room was clean quiet and dark at night. Furniture was ok. Staff was fine .
