So impressed! Our son had surgery at Riley Hospital, and we needed a place to stay, which is stressful enough. Finding a comfortable hotel is usually the next step. Jason (front desk) was so kind and generous to us. As soon as I arrived to check my family in, he was there with a smile and was ready to help. He provided us maps for the area and made sure we were settled with everything we needed. He was even kind to our 1 year old son. I haven’t seen someone with such care and compassion for others in a while. Jason made our stay worth it. Excellent customer service. Clean rooms, quiet, and comfortable. we will definitely be coming here again in the future. 10/10 recommend.
This HOTEL THINKS IT PROPER TO RIP PEOPLE OFF ON THE BASIS OF COVID-19
I had a four night stay at this property booked for the 2020 Indianapolis 500. The race is always run on Memorial Day weekend. But this year due to COVID-19, the race was rescheduled to Sunday August, 23, 2020. This Hotel and Marriott used this opportunity to PRICE GOUGE and would not honor my prior rate for a 4 night stay for the race. If I wanted to stay for the same 4 nights time, this HOTEL FELT IT PROPER TO SEEK A MORE THAN 400% INCREASE IN THE RATE due to the necessity of the race's rescheduling. This is improper and disgusting. The hotel's representative claimed this was not, in fact, price gouging, before hanging up on me. Marriott and this Courtyard should be ashamed. I canceled the reservation AND my MARRIOTT BON VoY membership. Marriott has lost my business forever. Hilton here I come.
Great location, great hotel
Pros: - location - updated - clean - spacious room - delicious cook-to-order breakfast - microwave and fridge in room - restaurant attached to hotel - Starbucks attached to hotel - comfortable bed - blackout shades Cons: - charges for parking per night - street noise - thin walls (could hear everything through the walls - even conversations). * a lot of cook-to-order breakfast choices. You order at a counter just like at a restaurant. The amount of food I got was way too much for me. I ordered scrambled eggs, fried potatoes and fruit.
A very good value
We had the pleasure to stay at this hotel with many guests for our son's wedding. The secret is that we were able to secure 20+ newly decorated ,clean rooms at a very affordable group price with parking passes at 10$ daily. We were treated by friendly excellent staff who made us feel at home. The lobby was a great gathering point with Star Bucks coffee and breakfast rolls. Breakfast was not included, rooms had a Frig and Microwave. The King suite rooms were connected to the next room with big mirrors and 2 bathrooms the bridal parties had plenty of room to get ready. Affordable , comfortable beds at half the price. Reasonable. Enough.
Jason Cordell and friendly service at the Capitol
Jason Cordell helped me check in and was as friendly and funny as anyone could hope for, but his level of service didn’t stop after my girlfriend and I had checked in. He went out of his way to make us great coffee and maintained such a friendly demeanor that made us feel at ease. Upon arriving to the airport after our stay I realized I had forgotten my suit that I had bought for a wedding. Jason again went above and beyond to help me get my suit shipped back to me. If you’re ever heading toward the Indianapolis downtown area I highly recommend staying at the Capitol. If you’re lucky you’ll bump into Jason and I’m sure you’ll start your day off with a smile on your face.
