A bit pricey for what you get, but it works.

Nice hotel, located 1.5 miles from the heart of Charleston. They have a free shuttle running very 30 minutes, drops you off at the Waterfront park. Runs till 10:00 p.m. Clean room, nice shower with enough water pressure. Single cup Kuerig in room. Nice pool and patio overlooking the marina. Front desk staff friendly. Elevators were acting a little wonky but got the job done. Disliked paying $12/night for parking, especially with only 2 dozen spots in the garage. At the price point and not being "donwtown" per say, I think they should suck that up and make it free. No free breakfast, but I knew that at a Courtyard. Overall, I would stay here again.

Should have stayed at the Motel 6 !

Worst Marriott I have ever stayed at and the staff is horrible . I tried moving to another room but wasn’t able to , I tried leaving a day early but was told “ you can leave early but you will still be charged since you prepaid online .

Uncaring and unprofessional staff, terrible property all around

Multiple issues. Coffee maker was broke and not fixed or exchanged, had house keeping walk in the room with do not disturb sign on the door handle, shuttle drive was rude and they said it was strict times to leave but was late or left early every time I tried to use it. Staff had zero care when reporting the issues. There are significantly better properties in this area, and the poor service just put it on “never stay here again” list. Oh, and the photos are some really creative editing, lower your expectations significantly when arriving.

    Great view, close to Citadel

We stayed here when touring the Citadel. Close by the college, so it was easy to get to events. Hotel was clean and had plenty of parking. Staff were friendly. Beautiful view of the harbor. Great place to have coffee or a cocktail! Beds were comfy. Only downside were the pillows- which seemed to be equal to trying to use an envelope to sleep on.

Good location with free shuttle to historic downtown

We had a free night certificate about to expire and decided to spend a night in Charleston. We opted for this hotel as it had the possibility of a water view which we did receive. The hotel looks like it is either new or had just been renovated. Parking was directly below the hotel and the front desk told us where to park to be near the elevator to our room. Much appreciated. This hotel offers a free shuttle service that goes to Waterfront Park and runs until 10:45 PM. This is a real bonus as you don't have to search for parking downtown and the park is within easy walking distance of sights, restaurants, and shopping. We plan on returning for a longer weekend.
