Great view, close to Citadel
We stayed here when touring the Citadel. Close by the college, so it was easy to get to events. Hotel was clean and had plenty of parking. Staff were friendly. Beautiful view of the harbor. Great place to have coffee or a cocktail! Beds were comfy. Only downside were the pillows- which seemed to be equal to trying to use an envelope to sleep on.

Good location with free shuttle to historic downtown
We had a free night certificate about to expire and decided to spend a night in Charleston. We opted for this hotel as it had the possibility of a water view which we did receive. The hotel looks like it is either new or had just been renovated. Parking was directly below the hotel and the front desk told us where to park to be near the elevator to our room. Much appreciated. This hotel offers a free shuttle service that goes to Waterfront Park and runs until 10:45 PM. This is a real bonus as you don't have to search for parking downtown and the park is within easy walking distance of sights, restaurants, and shopping. We plan on returning for a longer weekend.

Clean
Housekeeping is excellent here, however the free coffee isn't really available as its only one small pot for the whole hotel which runs out fast. So if you want coffee you can buy the over price coffee the hotel is selling. And the price of parking is a bit high per day

Very Clean & Comfortable!
Booked a room here for second night of weekend stay because the property across the street (which is going through renovations) left too much to be desired. Just wanted clean & reasonably maintained. Wasn’t expecting this Courtyard to be so nicely updated, clean, & comfortable! Good view of river harbor. Parking garage should definitely be free for the price of the room, but it isn’t. Would def stay here again though.

Skip this inconveniently located and horribly overpriced hotel.
What a horrible - and horribly overpriced - hotel. One is met with a musty smell in the lobby upon arrival. Rooms are fair-sized but incredibly dated. Old, tired bathrooms and linens, dark and depressing rooms, a safe that didn't work - all added up to a rather awful stay. Staff were nice - the courtesy shuttle driver was delightful and the best asset of this property. There is no value for money here.
